20/04/2026: I contacted this establishment to organize a meal for about twenty people on a Saturday evening. From the very first phone call, the conversation with the owner was very pleasant. Five-star service, homemade cuisine, and generous portions (everything is possible: vegetarian, halal, traditional, etc.). A rare find in Douai where you feel right at home. The setting is magnificent, and the staff is very welcoming, friendly, and professional (special thanks to our waiter for the evening 😉). I wholeheartedly recommend the Saint Georges pub for a drink or a delicious meal with friends or family. Thank you again 🙏

28/04/2026: Extremely fast and efficient service. Delicious savory crepes. Very well located, with a terrace to enjoy the outdoors.

20/04/2026: Very fast service: we had barely arrived when they took our order and within minutes the sweet crepe was ready. The crepe itself was good, but I doubt the "homemade" chocolate was truly homemade; it came from a tube bottle. We didn't try the savory crepes.

08/05/2026: The restaurant is spotless and clean, with a lovely buffet and excellent food! The showers are spotless and excellent! There's a large parking area for trucks and oversized vehicles. I highly recommend this place!

08/04/2026: Good evening. We ate there on Wednesday, April 8th. The service is generally good. But today, not so great! What's more, a driver parked across the road! I reported it to the restaurant, and their response was: "I can't see anything from here." So, I conclude that drivers do whatever they want! Furthermore, I told him he had to move. He refused. So, I parked in front of him. He got out of his truck and even tried to hit me! He wasn't even scared. See the photos.

20/04/2026: Couscous: inedible, tough meat, no flavor, cold!! Burger: be careful to cook it properly. Vegetables: cold. Sauce: the containers aren't refilled regularly. In short, the Crescendo cafeteria isn't what it used to be.... And the staff leaves much to be desired........

29/01/2026: Passing through the area, my husband and I stopped for lunch. We opted for the set menu (starter, main course, dessert), and from start to finish, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was excellent. The chef's dishes are worthy of a top restaurant. We will be back.

25/01/2026: We had a very good meal. The ham platter with mixed vegetables was incredible. The main courses were just as good and very generous, although my meat was slightly overcooked. However, a major drawback was the service: the wait was far too long. It took about 15 minutes for drinks, then 35 minutes for the starter, and another 35 minutes for the main courses. The staff lacked presence and attentiveness. It's a shame, because this wait discouraged us from ordering dessert. With more responsive service, the experience would have been much better.

The place is surrounded by a lovely garden that I can't wait to explore while having lunch there when the weather is nice! 😁 Stop by if you're passing by; you won't regret it, especially at such a reasonable price!

09/05/2026: A fantastic find! The interior is lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was impeccable. The portions were generous, and the meal was excellent.

17/05/2026: The concept was promising, but the food and cleanliness were a real disappointment! The concept of a Parisian-style bouillon restaurant in Dax raised hopes for a pleasant experience, but the reality is quite different. While the prices seem very reasonable at first glance, the value for money is absolutely lacking due to ridiculously small portions. We chose the asparagus, since it's peak season. What a disappointment... Receiving four measly asparagus spears, two of which were missing their tips, is frankly a rip-off. The salt pork with lentils didn't redeem it: bland, tasteless lentils that seemed to have just come from a can or a bag. Hygiene (the major drawback): The upkeep is truly appalling. The floor was so sticky throughout the restaurant that we almost got stuck there! To top it all off, there was a strong smell of urine in the toilets. On the other hand, the bread was delicious, it must be said. Carafe of fresh water. We didn't have dessert. Too disappointed.

17/05/2026: Yesterday we enjoyed the local dishes and products from the Landes region, and the quality-price ratio was excellent 👌 Friendly service guaranteed, and the Sangria was delicious! See you soon!

28/03/2026: The table service was very pleasant, however the head chef was unpleasant to her staff, making the meal an awkward moment for the waitresses and therefore for the customers.

28/03/2026: A mixed experience. The food was excellent: the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. A huge thank you to the waitresses who remained professional, smiling, and efficient despite what appears to be a very harsh management style. It's regrettable to see the manager speak so rudely to her staff in front of customers; this creates tension that somewhat spoils the experience.

01/05/2026: Our half-board stay was perfect: the welcome, the kindness and professionalism of the staff, and our room with a sea view and balcony, which delighted us every morning. The dinners offered a variety of flavors and were exceptional cuisine – thank you to the chef! We were charmed by the hotel and restaurant. We will be back. Marie
