24/08/2026: We had a fantastic time at this restaurant! The staff were simply amazing: kind, friendly, and very funny, making for a truly enjoyable experience. The food was absolutely delicious, a real treat. A nice, original touch: a little game played at the table where you can win vouchers or desserts. It's fun, though a bit of a shame you have to come back to take advantage of it 😉! The only slight downside was that they were out of salmon linguine that day. We'll definitely be back to try it!

14/09/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat at Bistronomi'k. For the first time, my partner and I came with our baby and we received a very warm welcome. While he was having his bottle, the waitress offered to keep my partner's food warm so it wouldn't be cold. They then washed the bottle for us. These are small gestures, but they make a big difference, so a big thank you to them, and see you soon.

07/09/2026: Discovered thanks to "it's better when it's good"... the gratinéed pork loin with Saint-Nectaire cheese and the shredded lamb were divine, and what can I say about the chocolate mousse with a siphon... a delight of incomparable lightness. Impeccable service... Top-notch across the board.

06/09/2026: Here, you shouldn't be in a hurry, and the owner makes that clear from the moment you walk in: if you're looking for rushed service and fawning, look elsewhere. Her tone is direct and unfiltered, but she can certainly afford to be, given what comes out of the kitchen. The portions are incredibly generous, delicious, homemade, and the value for money is unbeatable. As the meal progresses, the armor melts away: a touch of irony takes over, witty banter is exchanged with plenty of humor, and her recommendations for the menu are impeccable. You end up putting the world to rights, discussing life, and genuinely laughing. A truly unique and characterful place, the kind you rarely find. Go there without a watch and with a smile. Don't even read the negative reviews!

We arrived, said hello, and received no response? When you work in retail, a smile or a kind word should be the bare minimum.

17/09/2026: Magical! A haven of relaxation and delicious flavors! We first came in 2022 and returned this month. It's just as good, if not better. The quality of the service, the food, the welcome, the rooms... Everything is perfect! 12/10! We have a story about the sommelier. A truly exceptional character. Enjoy it while you can, he's about to embark on a new chapter in his life! We are absolutely certain that La Pomme d'Api and Le Clos Saint Yves will be just as wonderful on our next visit. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to treat themselves.

11/07/2026: What a pleasure it is to return to Restaurant L’Ecume every year! We never tire of this refined cuisine, where every ingredient is perfectly prepared! The restaurant offers a 3-course market menu for €28, unbeatable for such high-quality food. Moreover, the welcome is always perfect, and the staff will always go out of their way to pamper you 🤩 I highly recommend it if you're passing through St-Trojan, and it's even worth a detour if you're simply on the island ☺️

29/08/2026: We stopped during our bike tour, and the restaurant was full (with French people). However, after a 30-minute wait (we were seated on the terrace and offered red wine), we got the first free table and enjoyed a sumptuous meal (the set menu: duck and dessert). The service was perfect and exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Like everyone else, we stayed for a long time (3.5 hours) and will definitely return if we're ever in the area again.

26/09/2026: We visited La Flambée on a weekend without a reservation, and it seems that getting a table without booking is nearly impossible. We had tried to get into three of the best-rated restaurants in town, but La Flambée was the only one that could accommodate us, so we were supposed to be grateful to get a table — unfortunately, we aren’t! The entrecôte was extremely tough and almost not chewable! The French fries and salad were just okay. The Camembert sauce, however, was delicious, and the profiteroles were also very good. The restaurant was completely full, which may explain why it is so popular — tastes differ, of course. However, the biggest problem came, when noticed a guest on the table, looked like a cockroach exploring our table. That completely spoiled the experience and raised serious concerns about the cleanliness of the place. Overall, despite the restaurant’s popularity, we personally would not recommend it. For us, the lack of cleanliness was a deal-breaker.

26/09/2026: A lovely crêperie experience offering new culinary creations: a beautifully decorated Basque galette served with a very nice little bag of crêpes and salad. I recommend it; grilled meats are also available.
