14/09/2026: A real gem! This restaurant has become one of my favorites in Roanne! The cuisine is refined yet unpretentious, with beautifully prepared ingredients. The service strikes the perfect balance: incredibly warm and friendly, while remaining highly professional. And honestly, considering the quality of the food and the atmosphere, the prices are ridiculously low. A superb place that you absolutely must discover.

31/08/2026: We returned to this establishment after our visit last year for my sixtieth birthday. We were there as a family in a large private room, and the evening, the meal, and the welcome were wonderful. This year, we dined as a couple, my wife and I. The table layout provides plenty of space for everyone and ensures real comfort. The rooms are bright with a stunning ocean view. The service is impeccable, with attentive service. The sommelier gave us excellent advice and introduced us to a superb Pessac-Léognan. The dishes were delicious, and the service flowed smoothly without a long wait. Not wanting to finish our bottle of wine, I asked to take it home, and we were delighted to find a kind note accompanying it when it was delivered to our house. The pastry chef presented his creations, and in this instance, the harmony between sweet and tangy was perfect in our strawberry-rhubarb dessert. Bravo, Chef, for taking a risk! This is a restaurant and a place you'll want to visit again and again. We highly recommend it. A big thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience.

The food is delicious, and the value for money is unbeatable, both for the lunch menu and in the evening. The exceptional service deserves special mention: extremely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The waiters know the food and wines inside and out and offer advice with genuine passion. We look forward to coming back every year. A truly heartfelt recommendation!

A special mention goes to the snails and the boles de picolat, which were simply delicious! The setting is also very charming and inviting. A fantastic find that we wholeheartedly recommend. 16/09/2026: We passed by too often not to try it. Close to our Airbnb. Well, we weren't disappointed. Fast service, very good product, in a small village. And a calm dog who loves fries.

15/09/2026: I went there with friends in September. Great, friendly bar-restaurant! We didn't eat there, but they have a huge selection of drinks, including local ones (I recommend the Souillac plum brandy!). The owners, Axel and Arjen, are lovely; we had a great time! With its late opening hours (around 1 a.m.), you could really party and have fun. Darts and chess are available (free of charge). In short, it's the kind of village bar you wish every village in France had! As my friends and I used to say: the Saint Jus beer is delicious!
