20/09/2026: A first for us last night. We loved this restaurant! The welcome was fantastic, the service impeccable, the owner and servers kind, responsive, and professional. And above all, because that's what really matters in a restaurant, the meat was absolutely divine and cooked to perfection! We're not afraid to say it was the best we've ever had for such a great price. Congratulations to the chef-owner, you truly delighted us. We opted for the "butcher's special" with the hanger steak (and the impressive selection of desserts on the menu). I'm eager to introduce this to my friends and family. We don't live nearby, but we'll definitely be back soon. Thank you and well done to everyone, what a fantastic job! 🤩

13/08/2026: My favorite restaurant in Charente. Amazing cocktails along fantastically creative food of which half are vegetarian. The staff is friendly but also very professional. The lunch menu has 2 appetizers, 2 entrées and 2 deserts of which at least one of each is vegetarian. The dinner menu has many more dishes.

30/09/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Lebanese cuisine. Marc, the owner, gave us a warm welcome on Monday, September 28th. We hadn't been to this restaurant before, but we will definitely be back.

30/09/2026: We had dinner there, enjoying two complete mezze platters – a pure delight! Everything was excellent, bursting with flavor, each dish a true pleasure. One of the best Lebanese restaurants we've ever had the pleasure of tasting; we'll definitely be back. Thanks again to the owner who kindly took a takeout order before his usual opening hours, no less!

10/09/2026: We had a fantastic meal at this wonderful restaurant, which we hadn't been to before. The place was lovely, the staff were great too, and the food was excellent. The same goes for the children; everything was homemade and absolutely delicious! It's a shame we're 2.5 hours away by car, otherwise we'd definitely come back more often 🥰 Perhaps see you again soon, and thank you for this lovely meal.

19/08/2026: The biggest discovery of our Paris trip and honestly the best dinner we had all weekend. Everything was incredible: the food, the choice of dishes, the ingredients, the wine, and especially the staff, who were absolutely fantastic. It feels like a true local spot rather than somewhere made for tourists, which made the experience even better. You HAVE to order the mussels with fries — absolutely insane and probably one of the dishes we’ll remember most from the trip. Iconic. We would go back tomorrow!

30/07/2026: Came here a few days ago by chance after visiting the Artists’ Square and was treated to the best meal (so far!) of our trip to France. The owner’s knowledge of his drinks was superb, particularly kudos to the sweet wine recommended - my girlfriend says it’s the best she’s ever had and we must now import it. The beef tartare restored my faith in beef tartare and the pulled pork with sweet potato could not have been more perfect. Both puddings were amazing, particularly the chocolate mousse. We will be back for this restaurant/bar! Merci beaucoup!

17/09/2026: We came for lunch today for the first time and we loved it! You can really tell the ingredients are fresh and homemade, not mass-produced. It shows… and above all, you can taste it on the plate! What's more, the prices are more than reasonable. Just remember to book, because places fill up quickly… and you'll soon see why! 😉 We'll definitely be back!

21/08/2026: I found this restaurant through an app that calculates calories from a photo. This rhubarb stalk dish was light and allowed me to stay within my calorie goal. The service was quick and the decor quite simple.

20/09/2026: A friend from Lyon had recommended this bouchon, a restaurant she's known her whole life. It's a family-run establishment. We weren't disappointed. Everything was delicious and homemade with quality ingredients. We started with cervelle de canuts (a cheese spread) as an appetizer to share, followed by oeufs meurette (eggs poached in red wine sauce), delicious pike quenelles, rum baba for me, and crème brûlée for my husband. A real treat!

The gourmet dishes, offered at a reasonable price, were exceptional; from the appetizer to the dessert, everything was excellent, surprising, and absolutely delicious. The service was also superb: thank you to the entire team. We highly recommend this restaurant.

05/09/2026: A must-try restaurant. Everything is perfect. The setting in the glass-enclosed atrium is magnificent. The menu is efficient, not overwhelming with "15,000 dishes," which is exactly what we look for to ensure quality, homemade cuisine. Three appetizers (we chose the beef tataki and fried shrimp, both excellent), one daily special, and a special of the day, either meat or fish, all refined and original, at a very reasonable price, and in very generous portions (we chose the veal confit with tomato sauce, penne rigate, parmesan, and olives—simply divine). Complemented by a selection of more classic dishes, presented and cooked with exquisite finesse. Six dessert choices; we chose the cream puff with salted caramel sauce, also delicious. The service was pleasant and quick, and the waiters were incredibly attentive. We will gladly return as soon as possible. Thank you for everything. See you soon. Cécile

26/09/2026: A fantastic place! The food is homemade, simple, and unpretentious, but truly delicious. The portions are generous, and the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity served. I also appreciated the spacing between the tables, which allows you to eat comfortably without feeling crowded. A great find, I highly recommend it!
