Their crêpes are delicious, the wood-fired meat is a real treat, and I especially recommend the snails, which are simply divine. The welcome is warm and the setting is perfect for a great time. Go for it without hesitation!

17/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Taverne de Daon. The sausages were delicious and served with exquisite fries, absolutely perfect and crispy. A special mention goes to the fresh green beans with butter – an absolute treat! All washed down with a good bottle of sweet cider. We had dinner there in the evening and then breakfast the next morning, and everything was truly excellent quality, with very reasonable prices! But what impressed us most was undoubtedly the exceptional welcome from the entire team. Every member of staff was attentive, smiling, kind, and always ready to make our stay enjoyable. It's genuinely heartwarming to see, especially in a time when such kindness is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. We have an 11-month-old baby, and there's even a high chair available. He was very comfortable in it, and the staff were so kind to our little one, which really touched us. Thank you! ✨ A special mention goes to Manon, who showed remarkable gentleness, patience, and kindness towards us. Their professionalism and kindness truly contributed to making our experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, we didn't encounter a single unpleasant person during our stay; quite the opposite, in fact. The entire team deserves to be commended for their warm welcome and excellent service. 17/05/2026: Nice and very comfortable hotel. Excellent welcome. Pleasant setting, pool and spa. Hotel restaurant: I ate there once a few weeks ago. It was very good! One small drawback: no restaurants/bars nearby if you want to go out.

05/10/2026: First and last time at this establishment. A truly disappointing experience. The iced coffee was awful, really difficult to drink. And unfortunately, the ice cream and their so-called "French toast" did absolutely nothing to improve things. Everything had a very industrial feel, lacking flavor and any real appeal. If all of this is truly homemade, they seriously need to review the recipes, the quality of the ingredients, and perhaps even some of the staff's culinary skills, because the result was truly awful. Regarding the iced coffees: either they know how to make them properly, or they shouldn't offer them at all. The only thing we enjoyed was the Breizh Cola… which unfortunately says a lot about the rest of the experience. A huge disappointment. I won't be back.

19/09/2026: A must-visit in Nantes, right in the heart of the city center. The menus are incredibly creative and full of flavor. Homemade cuisine is guaranteed, featuring exceptional ingredients and surprising, delicious combinations (fragrant hummus, homemade tagliatelle with artichokes – a taste of Italian sweetness – and a sublime panna cotta with red berries). The staff is always smiling, attentive, and welcoming. The service is top-notch! Hurry and have lunch on the terrace, and if you prefer not to sit outside, the dining room is very cozy.

The lovely terrace and pergola extend the summer and bathe the interior in beautiful light. Daily specials and salads are listed on a chalkboard. The menu also looks appealing. The service is efficient and friendly.

09/09/2026: They're trying to do more than they can. The food is artfully presented, but the cooking is merely average. The biggest outrage, however, is that I, as a guest, was forced to order dessert along with the appetizer and main course. Even when I asked if I could decide later, they refused. I've never experienced anything like it! Someone here clearly doesn't understand their profession and is completely incompetent! We will never set foot in this restaurant again.
