27/08/2024: Basically, I only write a review for exceptional restaurants or extremely bad experiences. It's a shame, because this beautiful place invites you to linger. We were there for lunch. My friend had a beef skewer, the meat was so tough. Every other leaf in my salad with goat cheese was rotten and spoiled. I was more than uncomfortable bringing this to the boss's attention. Without apology (!!!) he brings me a plate to sort out the bad salad. In the end we pay the full price for the salad - the espresso is also on the bill. The owner probably doesn't need to make an effort. It's a shame, go to the nearest store, it couldn't be worse.

26/08/2024: Meal at the start of the season, so we were not able to taste the famous veal on the spit, but the meats were very well cooked over a wood fire, with quality cuts (rib steak and lamb for our part). Very pleasant waiters and owner, pleasant terrace with a view of the embers. We ended up with 3 homemade desserts, very pleasant, a small downside for the bush one compared to the others which for the price of €9.5 was in fairly limited quantity. Allow on average dish dessert drink €40 per person.

24/09/2024: C’est la deuxième fois que je viens chez vous, pas de papier toilette, les toilettes, pas propre les couverts ça sent la vinaigrette. Franchement il faut user sur les couverts quand vous les nettoyer avec la vinaigrette et le monsieur d’accueil qui m’a accueilli pas souriant mais bon j’avais pas besoin de ça.

19/09/2024: Vraiment dommage pour une si grande enseigne que le service soit aussi nul. Serveuse littéralement démissionnaire. Merci à Youssouf ( jeune alternant) bienveillant grâce à qui je mets les 2 étoiles. Surtout passer votre chemin s'il vous faut un sourire enfin sauf si vous rencontrez Youssouf. Très déçu

25/09/2024: We slept Sunday and Monday night. We booked this hotel, which is in the first town across the French border, because they advertise a heated pool. Surprise that we arrived at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and they were waiting for us to check-in and close. The boy, very kind, gave us all the instructions. Among them, the brasserie restaurant was closed. The thing is that we couldn't find any place in town to have dinner. We went to cross the border to see if we could find something in Spain and it was like a ghost town. So without dinner in bed On Monday, we intended to enjoy the heated pool and, surprise! The one that is free was closed for "maintenance" (we did not see any work on it) so the alternative was the Spa at €29 per person. A little too expensive! So we were left without a bathroom! On Tuesday when we checked out, they apologized to us and offered us the pool. After our refusal, they offered us 1 hour of Spa but in the afternoon. We had to return to Spain and we declined the offer. A shame about the bad experience we have had. The hotel is very cool and by the way, the restaurant was also closed on Monday night, but this time it caught us with supplies. I think that a hotel that wants to have 4* cannot do without giving dinners to its clients. By the way, it's difficult to understand each other because they don't speak Spanish and they understand it a little like that, like that.

And breakfast, a delight in fresh, local products. The scrambled eggs are to die for :) Thanks to the friendly owners, we will surely come back to celebrate the end of the year :)
