11/08/2026: A superb experience at this small restaurant. The cut of meat was of exceptional quality and the truffade was incredible! The only slight drawback was the charcuterie, which came straight from a blister pack. A shame, as we were expecting flavorful country ham and homemade sausage. There was a mishap with our fries; they were a disaster! The tomato salad was excellent! The lemon dessert, however, was superb! The service was quick and efficient, the staff very friendly, and the cook even came to check that everything was alright. The village setting is exceptional!

21/07/2026: Hello We made a quick stop at Philippe's today, and let's just say we don't plan on returning. While the welcome from a young man was quite pleasant, an older waitress became rather unpleasant after we asked two questions. The first was: what does "IRL" mean next to "steak haché" (minced steak), and the second was about the possibility of removing the tomato from the burger due to an allergy. Her response was somewhat aggressive. Although it was extremely busy, I think a minimum of courtesy and politeness is necessary. As for the food, we ordered a warm goat cheese salad, which was swimming in sauce (tasting of water, not vinaigrette) with an excessive amount of garlic. The only positive point was the warm goat cheese toast (but it was cold...). The dessert was good nonetheless... but it didn't redeem the meal.

12/07/2026: A very disappointing experience. I ordered a glass of rosé, and the waiter brought me two glasses of water. When I politely pointed out the mistake, he replied, "You need to enunciate, madam"—a complete lack of respect for the customer. The food wasn't any better: I ordered rare meat, but it was served tough and inedible. I left half of it on my plate. When I mentioned this at the end of the meal, the response was astonishing: "Next time, you can eat your meat at another restaurant." An unpleasant welcome, subpar food, and staff who can't tolerate the slightest criticism. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

11/07/2026: A pleasant surprise! We came as a family to quench our thirst. Air conditioning was a welcome bonus given the current heatwave 😂 The servers were very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. The restrooms were clean!

11/05/2026: Restaurant: Disappointed, given the reviews that led us to choose this place. Very friendly welcome and pleasant atmosphere. Wines: very good. The main courses were excellent. Pastilla and duck breasts were perfect and generous. But: Foie gras: Small and bland, which is surprising for the region! Desserts were truly disappointing. Millefeuille: soggy pastry and mediocre cream. Strawberry tiramisu: not a single biscuit, which is the foundation, even if it's a modern twist. Mijito: where's the rum? So... Disappointed.

11/06/2026: Hello, very warm welcome, everyone very friendly and the food is excellent for the price. I was there with a colleague. It's a shame there are fewer and fewer good roadside restaurants.

22/06/2026: We had an absolutely delicious meal here. The small menu offers a variety of Breton dishes, lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. The ingredients are fresh and of truly excellent quality. The wine selection is also impressive. You sit on a glass-enclosed terrace, sheltered from the Atlantic wind, with a view of the sea.

08/06/2026: Warning: This is a gem! Located directly across from Primel Beach, this establishment, run by a couple in their seventies, offers four 28 m² rooms with colorful names (blue, red, green, and mauve) overlooking the beach, with all the comforts one could expect: shower AND bathtub, large sink, separate toilet. The king-size beds are extremely comfortable, there's a kettle for making coffee or tea, a mini-fridge… everything is clean and very well maintained. Peace and quiet are guaranteed, with perfect soundproofing. All the (small) staff are welcoming, smiling, and attentive. One small but important detail: a fairly large parking lot is located behind the house. Breakfast is served on the veranda overlooking the beach, with a generous selection of breads and pastries, butter, jams, a hot drink (coffee, tea, etc.), freshly squeezed orange juice, fromage blanc, and a homemade fruit salad. You can request additional items if needed. The restaurant (reservations required) lives up to the rest of the experience: generous and flavorful home-style cooking, with thoughtful presentation and side dishes, and a menu offering several choices. Everything is homemade and prepared to order, so the service can seem slow (but you're here on vacation, not to be stressed!), but it's well worth the wait. And to aid digestion, a short stroll along Primel Beach is highly recommended. Heading back to the left as you leave the hotel, depending on the time of day, don't miss the magnificent sunset over Trégastel Beach. In short, we've found our go-to place for any future visits to the region. Plougasnou allows you to visit a good part of the region with a fairly rich cultural and historical heritage, and you are twenty minutes from Morlaix (also worth visiting!).

18/04/2026: It's a small pub; the menu isn't huge, but it's more than enough. It's worth stopping by for a few beers before dinner.

26/06/2026: I come to this place sometimes. They have friendly staff. The coffee and food are superb! It is one of the best places you can find in this area. They need to offer more vegetarian options :))

06/08/2026: We received a warm welcome at this establishment today. We were able to book for lunch that same morning. Everything was good and the food was excellent; the establishment is very dog-friendly and has a baby changing table. We had a wonderful time as a family with our children under 5 and our cocker spaniel. Thank you again for the service and quality. We highly recommend it.

11/08/2026: A really great daily special, and the service was excellent. They were incredibly reliable; we forgot our backpack and the waiters found it 30 minutes later. Fantastic!

08/08/2026: The crepes and chocolate were actually quite good! But one of the waiters was really unpleasant and arrogant. For example, he'd say "ah, well, there you go" when you greeted him because he'd apparently already said it but you hadn't heard him, he'd made really questionable jokes to the customers, and so on. Fortunately, the view of the fountain was still very nice, which made you almost forget his behavior.

20/08/2026: We came on August 19th (yesterday) and everything was absolutely fantastic. The welcome was excellent, the food was perfect and very tasty, with just the right amount of food. We were recommended some very good wines. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family.
