02/11/2025: Every time we've been there, we've always had a wonderful time. The food is fresh and prepared with care. Kudos to the two new owners and their chef.

29/10/2025: Dish of the day: brandade of meagre that is to say, a few cubes of potato swimming in a tasteless, almost fishy semblance with a slight whiff of spoiled fish. If I were to recommend this establishment, it would be to an enemy.

06/12/2025: Delicious and generous meal. Perfect service, pleasant decor. We were at the large table, which is truly ideal for families (we wish we had one like it at home!). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return if we're ever in the area. The train station parking lot is right next door, which is very convenient!

06/12/2025: Good food, with excellent frogs' legs of course, dishes made with local produce, decent portions, but a few more sides for those with a heartier appetite would be nice. The cheese plate was light, just three small pieces, a far cry from the cheese platters of yesteryear. I only gave it four stars for the atmosphere because I found the dining room very noisy; it echoes a bit, but that's all. Oh yes, a little something to accompany the aperitif would have been appreciated. Otherwise, the waitresses were great and the two burly chefs were very professional. Parking is limited, but a little walk never hurt anyone. I recommend it; a very good place.

03/12/2025: A pleasant atmosphere and a lovely setting. It's a shame the waitresses couldn't explain the dishes and that the risotto was very dry. Furthermore, we ordered floating islands and after a 30-minute wait for dessert, we didn't receive it; we assumed they were out. The replacement dessert was a hot dish that was clearly defrosted, judging by its texture. A real shame.

06/12/2025: Excellent lunch in my helmet during my visit to the circuit. Smoked salmon bruschetta with citrus, pollack with beurre blanc sauce (perfectly cooked), tiramisu. Simple but well prepared.

18/01/2026: Very negative review. We came for a drink one evening, and the noise level gradually increased throughout the night until we couldn't hear ourselves speak (even shouting), even though we were far from the dance floor. Five days later, my ears still hurt! I've never experienced anything like it, not even at a concert! The legal noise levels were clearly not respected at a simple evening event where music was being played. What's the point of damaging customers' hearing? There's clearly no 90 dB limiter (which I know well because I do the sound for a community bar). So, it's a real shame in what is otherwise a nice place. I regret coming!

10/12/2025: New to the area and discovered by chance, I love this brasserie. The warm welcome and sunny smile of the owner, the delicious and very affordable food. I love going there just to stop by for a drink and I'm always very well received.

06/12/2025: A perfect place for a quick meal, simple but effective cuisine. I had the 250g butcher's cut of flank steak with homemade fries and smoked salmon. The meat was high quality, and the lemon-basil sauce for the salmon was excellent. The service was top-notch; don't pay attention to the bad reviews... Try it for yourself, you'll be surprised; the team is very professional. I think Philippe Etchebest's visit was very beneficial to them. An address I'll definitely keep in mind for my next trips to Brive. See you soon, keep up the good work!

10/11/2025: A little restaurant worth discovering in the Saint Paul district. The big pluses: the service is excellent (I went on Saturday at lunchtime); the food is good; and there are several vegetarian options. It is a bit crowded, though, but that's a common problem in Paris.

20/10/2025: The restaurant is very good, but the portions are too small; I'm always hungry when I leave. And the prices are around €20 for a dish. It's a shame.

07/02/2026: Disgraceful and dishonest service. I ordered a glass of wine that tasted clearly spoiled. When I asked the waiter, Sebastian, to change it, he took my glass away and then came back with the exact same one, pretending it had been replaced. When I said it still didn’t taste good, he admitted it was the same wine. That is outright lying to a customer. I was treated like I wouldn’t notice or wouldn’t speak up, clearly because I am young. This is not a mistake. It is disrespectful, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. I will not return, and I strongly warn others, especially younger customers, to expect poor treatment here.

06/02/2026: A very disappointing experience at Le Mabillon. During our visit, there was no heating in the establishment. The restrooms were in an unacceptable state: no light, no toilet paper. Furthermore, the waiters' attitude was unpleasant and disrespectful. It's a shame for a café located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés; one expects a minimum level of comfort and professionalism. I absolutely do not recommend it, especially considering the location and the prices.

09/11/2025: This morning I thought, for a change, I'll go to their place. I see fruit bread for almost €20 a kilo. Strangely, I don't see any fruit on top of the bread. I ask him, "Are you sure it's fruit bread?" "Yes, yes." I think the picture speaks for itself. ... I assume, of course, that it's not the same price as the seeded bread, not to mention the anorexic-looking Menele.

20/12/2025: Great place, in the heart of Montpellier. The food is full of flavor, and the prices are reasonable! I went back, and I'll definitely go back again.

06/12/2025: I will never return to this place. The food arrived cold and the portions were tiny. The service was appalling: I asked for bread and, after waiting fifteen minutes, I had to get up and get it myself because no one had brought it to my table. On top of that, I waited thirty minutes for dessert. A completely disappointing experience.

15/11/2025: A real gem for our first visit to Saint Jean Pied de Port! Despite being very busy, the welcome was friendly and warm, the service quick and cheerful, and the dishes delicious and seasonal. The wood pigeon salmis, for example, was to die for… Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
