05/07/2026: Discovered by chance, what a wonderful surprise! Magnificent views over the little Gartempe river, which is so peaceful in summer. The staff were lovely, and what can I say about the sirloin steak? The best I've ever had, Limousin beef. I highly recommend spending some time at this establishment. The food was incredible: delicious, generous, and above all, very hearty dishes. Everyone loved it! 😍
The service was also top-notch, with a friendly and warm welcome from a very pleasant team. You immediately feel at ease, and the atmosphere is truly enjoyable.
A wonderful discovery for the whole family, well worth the trip! We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

29/09/2026: A wonderful discovery in Orléans! I had a fantastic time at La Dariole enjoying the tasting menu.
Everything was truly delicious, with some delightful surprises. I especially loved the homemade tuna charcuterie, a real discovery for me.
Special mention also goes to the Brie, absolutely magnificent, stuffed and served with honey from the chef's uncle… A real treat!
A big thank you to Anaëlle (if I'm not mistaken about her name!) for her service, kindness, and attentiveness throughout the meal. And of course, to the chef and his team.
I will gladly return!

Everything was absolutely delicious, with exquisite cuisine full of surprises and unexpected, incredible combinations of ingredients.
You can immediately taste the care put into each dish: fresh, high-quality ingredients, truly enhanced by the cooking.
The welcome is warm and pleasant.
Nicolas, the owner, is truly charming and passionate. When he explains his dishes, you can feel all the love he has for his restaurant and his cooking. His passion is literally written in his eyes, which light up when he talks about what he has imagined and prepared… and it's truly a joy to see!
Sincere, refined, and generous cuisine in a historic setting.
A real culinary surprise and, above all, a place you'll want to share with everyone you know.

24/05/2026: Enjoyed a lovely dinner after a long journey; we stayed at the owner's adjacent B&B.
As a starter, the delicious burrata salad; for the main course, a very tasty steak tartare (my wife had snails); and to finish, delicious cheeses. He rolls up with the cheese cart from which you can pick out some cheese yourself; pair this with an excellent port and the enjoyment is complete!
Delightfully authentic decor, friendly and fast service, wide selection on the menu. Very pet-friendly and just nice to order in the Dutch way (or French, if you can).

A very good restaurant, with a unique but high-quality menu concept. The cuisine is expertly prepared and of a very high standard.
25/05/2026: A very pleasant place for a stopover near Vézelay. The location is peaceful, and there are walks around the hotel. We received a very warm welcome, and the evening meal was refined and delicious. The room and breakfast were perfect. I highly recommend this place.

At 12:56 PM, we arrived as a family—two adults and one child—at this "restaurant," which states on its Google page that it's open from 12 PM to 3 PM. The manager opened the door only to tell us, "I'm full, I'm not taking anyone else," and then slammed the door in our faces without hesitation, even though several tables appeared to be free both inside and outside the restaurant. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality. Beyond the refusal, we didn't hear a "hello," "sorry," or "goodbye."
Being able to serve meals doesn't make you a restaurateur. You clearly lack some fundamental skills, or perhaps they're only known to a select few regulars.
I don't usually leave negative reviews on Google, but this refusal, both in substance and in form, deserves to be highlighted.
