26/11/2024: A witch and not a boss. I can't tell you about the quality of the dishes or the decoration since I couldn't get to this stage. No, before that, you will unfortunately have to go through the witch who runs the place. Indeed, I had the responsibility of having to find an exceptional establishment to organize an exceptional meal for the retirement of an exceptional man. It all starts with visiting the site. Unfortunately I did not find the personalized service I wanted. I try an email explaining the request and the surprise we wanted. I take the time to detail over ten lines to highlight the importance of this gift. In response: “please refer to our site” So I decided to call, specifying that I had of course visited their site without finding what I was looking for. I come across the haughty witch who explains to me that she has no time to waste, who cuts me off, asks me to get to the subject of my call but cuts me off. The nerves are building but I take it upon myself. This is a gift. That is my objective. Nothing happens. She explains to me that she is the boss and that she did what she wanted. No time to explain and place one. This is too much. I told him stop, I wouldn't put 1 euro in your establishment. We leave it there. Just writing it still makes my teeth grind. Run away. So much bad vibes and gratuitous nastiness deserves only the minimum possible.

20/11/2024: Our experience at **La Chaumière** was simply exceptional! As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who immediately put us at ease, and this moment set the tone for a memorable evening. We started with an aperitif in front of the fireplace, a cozy and pleasant atmosphere which allowed us to relax before the meal. A real moment of conviviality and sharing. The meal itself was a real feast. We opted for a **four-course** menu, followed by a **cheese** platter and **dessert**. Suffice it to say, it was **plenty**, but every bite was a treat. The dishes were not only delicious, but also perfectly balanced, combining finesse and generosity. The chef demonstrates great mastery in the harmony of flavors and the choice of products, which made every moment of the meal unforgettable. Another striking element of the experience at La Chaumière is the attentive presence of the chef. He takes the time to regularly visit the tables to interact with the guests. This gesture adds a very human touch and further strengthens the link between the kitchen and the customers, which is not always common in starred establishments. In summary, the **Chaumière** is more than just a starred restaurant; it is a place of life and pleasure where we feel welcomed like privileged guests. If you are looking for a gourmet and warm moment, this is without hesitation an address that I highly recommend.

27/09/2024: Lunch with the dish of the day, delicious and hearty beef bourguignon, homemade dessert, a glass of wine and coffee for 22 euros, it was perfect Efficient and pleasant service Discovered by chance on the way to Aiguebelle Abbey We will come back

24/09/2024: Austern, der frische Hummer und die Mousse waren köstlich! Das Restaurant war proppenvoll (vlt. weil es auch Montag war). Flinker, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Gerne wieder!

16/09/2024: Bonne nourriture, bonne qualité. Attention non professionnelle, notamment de la part des responsables des lieux. Mauvais soin et manque de professionnalisme dans la résolution de problèmes inattendus. Je suis désolé mais c'est une mauvaise expérience, ça pourrait être un très bon endroit, mais ils n'ont pas la formation nécessaire.

12/09/2024: The staff were so friendly and explained the whole menu to us. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced and were absolutely delicious! The restaurant filled up quickly and the atmosphere was fantastic. We would love to return one day!

02/09/2024: Amazing Indian food, very friendly waiters, and you cannot skip the samosas or the cheese nan. Highly recommend trying here for dinner!
