26/12/2025: Food is okay but a bit overpriced. Minimal service, no bad not good attitude, only efficiency.

21/12/2025: A truly excellent culinary experience in a setting steeped in history, reminiscent of our French heritage. Everything was perfectly executed: the sausage in brioche, with its wonderfully melt-in-your-mouth texture and exceptional quality, was simply the best I've ever tasted. The sautéed shrimp with the baby vegetables were fresh and delicious, although an extra portion of pasta would have been welcome, just for the sheer pleasure of it. The chocolate fondant with pistachio cream was divine—perfectly gooey, and the pistachio was a brilliant culinary touch. You can feel the touch of a great chef like Jean-François Piège behind it. This is bistronomy worthy of the name, served by a very pleasant staff. I don't understand the mediocre rating given by some customers who criticize the prices, which are clearly displayed on the website, as well as the decor, which is typical of our heritage. If they can't appreciate it, they should go to Flunch: the food, the price, and the decor will certainly suit them better. We went there as a couple and were both charmed by the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere. We'll gladly go back.

01/01/2026: While visiting friends in the area, we were recommended this bakery for breakfast. We arrived around 9:30 am, and there was almost no choice of pastries left. We took what was left: croissants, pain aux raisins, and some other bread. The croissants were tasteless, not at all crispy, and the insides felt frozen. The bread was nothing special, even though we ordered the specialty. The pain aux raisins was slightly dry. In short, we wouldn't particularly recommend it.

07/12/2025: A restaurant owner who listens to his customers' needs. They understand people with food allergies and find alternative menu options, and the Alsatian pot-au-feu is delicious. The vacherin is excellent, and the tarte flambée is superb. A restaurant to recommend. And the owners are very friendly. Places like this are becoming rare, which is a shame. We'll be back when we're in the area.

30/01/2026: Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the service, which was far from professional. The staff's attitude clearly lacked courtesy and customer service skills. When we pointed out something we didn't like about certain dishes to the waitress, she seemed visibly annoyed, as if our comment bothered her. Her response was cold, unprofessional, and inappropriate, which is absolutely unacceptable in an establishment open to the public. Giving feedback on a dish is a normal part of the restaurant experience, and it should be met with attentive listening and respect, not with dismissive reactions. It's a shame, because this kind of attitude leaves a very negative impression and discourages us from returning, despite the efforts made in the kitchen.

30/09/2025: This is an excellent restaurant. Too bad it's not open year-round!

27/09/2025: A fairly upscale restaurant for Argeles (the prices are accordingly). Unfortunately, the usual tourist restaurant cooking method remains regarding mussels: precooked at the start of service and then reheated at the last minute (given the very short time between ordering and serving, it's not possible to cook fresh mussels). Consequences: 3 out of 4 mussels are empty (they're at the bottom of the pan), shriveled and dry. It's a shame, it's a promising restaurant (we'll be back, however, to try the beef tartare at €28 (no mistakes will be accepted at this price).

05/10/2025: Where do I begin, where do I stop? The food is delicious, the cuisine is fantastic, it deserves full marks. Points are deducted for the fact that we barely received table service; every drink was ordered by shouting to the waiter. We were never asked if there was anything missing or anything else. Another point deducted is that we waited over an hour for the food. The dishes were nothing special, and the restaurant was normally busy that evening. We asked when our food would be coming, but given the waitress's shock, we must have been forgotten.

25/09/2025: Quite expensive, but they take advantage of the fact that it's all they have. We ordered hamburgers (sandwiches), which were average, but €16 each with fries.
