02/09/2026: We had planned to eat at this restaurant, which had an interesting menu. The owner made it clear that he would serve the tables of people who had reservations before us. We waited, and after more than 30 minutes without our order being taken, we paid for our drinks and left, without him even acknowledging our departure. What a shame!

Run by a young, dynamic, and friendly couple, this bar and restaurant is the heart of the village, a gathering place and hub of community life. We went for lunch at Le Chardon after a wine tasting in the area. Simple but delicious cuisine made with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. ☀️

18/07/2026: It's always a pleasure to visit Céline's. The food is excellent. The service is impeccable. Note the jazz evenings a few times a year where you can dine while enjoying live music.

01/08/2026: On this July 19, 2026, The restaurant is in need of renovation... but this doesn't detract from the quality of the food or service. Hot dishes, generous portions—perhaps even a little too generous—the chef is very accommodating. The excellence of the dishes is noteworthy. The service is top-notch, the ladies are smiling and friendly. Definitely worth a return visit.

30/03/2026: A warm welcome with a cheerful "hello" and a smile. The interior is inviting, with a fireplace for cooler, dreary weather. The service is quick and the local dishes are hearty. The only downside: prices remain high at this altitude, a well-known fact.

14/07/2026: We clearly felt a difference in treatment between the younger clientele (we're between 19 and 22 years old) and the older customers. We received an age-related discount, but two staff members gave us the impression that it influenced their attitude: no smiles, one waitress avoiding us, we almost felt like we were bothering them. The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. We ordered a Cherry Coke, but without warning, we were served a Coke with syrup. We were offered ketchup, which we never received despite asking again. We finally had to go get it ourselves. Good food, unfortunately spoiled by service that made us feel unwelcome.

30/08/2026: Only one main course. -> But it was masterful. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was an unbelievable crowd in front of the restaurant. A long line quickly formed. But, despite the rain, we had a fantastic time. It couldn't have been more international – half the world was represented. And there was lots of laughter and friendly chatting while we waited. The usher stood outside in the rain with us and was still very kind and friendly. The atmosphere in and around the restaurant was relaxed and friendly. He did a really good job. The meat was prepared masterfully. There were four of us, and everyone wanted their meat cooked differently: rare, medium-rare, medium, and well-done. And we actually got it exactly that way. A perfect result! Thank you for the great food, the wonderful ambiance, and the very relaxed atmosphere where we could enjoy our meal without any worries. A big thank you to the whole team!

29/08/2026: Excellent entrecote, friendly and efficient staff. They only serve their famous entrecote with their special sauce, but it's delicious. Highly recommended in Nantes; reservations are advisable.

13/09/2026: There were five of us friends. We ate on the terrace under the vines, a very pleasant setting. The waitress was very friendly and efficient, the food was excellent, and we had a lovely time until a customer arrived and bothered us for the rest of our meal. It's unfortunate that even in 2026 we still have to put up with men whose manners are practically extinct (alcohol doesn't help...) and accept being called "scum" or "wicked women" simply for politely asking him to leave us alone. It was a real shame; we ended up leaving to avoid a domino effect, even though we would have liked to stay a little longer.

10/05/2026: Passing through Martel for the weekend, we discovered Le Petit Moulin, a restaurant offering refined and flavorful cuisine. We received a warm welcome, and interacting with the staff was very natural; we immediately felt like friends coming to enjoy a meal. Thank you to the entire team and the chef. It was delicious!

10/05/2026: A very pleasant surprise! The room was lovely with high-quality amenities, excellent bedding, and a spacious, very functional bathroom. Perfect location above the restaurant. The restaurant boasts a superb wine selection, with excellent advice from the owner, who is also a winemaker, and his team in the dining room. Great atmosphere and original dishes. The chocolate dessert was exceptional. We'll be back!
