19/01/2026: This was my first meal in France, and it was even more delicious than I expected. I'm a picky Korean, but the escargot, which I tried for the first time, was chewy and salty, delicious. The truffle pasta was just right. The ham wasn't too salty, but fresh. The steak was okay, though a bit chewy. The price was reasonable, so overall, I'm satisfied. :D

08/02/2026: We arrived at 4:10 PM and sat at a table in front of the bar. Thirty-five minutes later, there was still no one to take our order. I understand it was busy, but several tables that arrived after us were served before us. So, I'd say it was either a poor welcome or poor service management, especially since the waiters still had time to be grumpy.

07/02/2026: Good evening, My partner and I came to this restaurant for lunch. We ordered sausage with aligot and onion soup. Unfortunately, a few hours after the meal, I felt completely unwell (cold sweats, dizziness). Currently, my partner and I are having a bad evening in the restroom due to probable food poisoning. However, the atmosphere is very pleasant.

18/01/2026: We had already visited a year ago and were delighted. Since the change of ownership (about six months ago), the quality has declined: a very limited menu, excessive prices, and disappointing dishes. Despite speaking with the chef, no compensation was offered. It should also be noted that two of the four of us felt unwell after the meal, which significantly marred the experience. We will not be returning.

15/01/2026: A very nice place with very tasty food, a good solution for those who sleep at the nearby hotel or in town, there aren't many options.

30/12/2025: Perfect restaurant for a gourmet stopover on the A89, enjoying a delicious Périgord salad and duck confit with foie gras sauce! A delight...just what we were looking for to sample the main regional specialties of Périgueux...a warm welcome and excellent value for money! We'll be back next time we're in the area....

28/12/2025: A regular customer for years, I couldn't be served at 6:17 PM, even though the bar closes at 7:00 PM. "- I'm leaving before 7:00 PM." "Yes, but I've finished serving!" As for the pub, I think I'll stay away from it from now on. I'm at the Watson. One more time like this and I'll stop going to both places, which I'll regret. But you just don't treat customers like that.

01/09/2025: What a nice little restaurant. We were truly delighted by the quality and the taste of the food. Very good value for the money is the 3-course-lunch! Truly everything is a joy. There were 16 of us incl. eight children.

11/08/2025: 1) The woman serving was unfortunately awful, and the man with gray hair tried to compensate, which unfortunately only partially worked. We had empty glasses (so nothing left to drink). The water jugs were NOT clean; the surface was dirty. What I also can't stand is rubbing your head with paper when you're sweating and not washing your hands afterward. 2) My brother ordered a Capirinha, but got a Campari, after which they told us there was no Capirininha. 2) Our daughter wanted fries with her schnitzel, but got potato pieces. 3) The two dogs (we have a dog ourselves) were running around the restaurant, which was okay, but one of them defecated next to the stairs and this wasn't cleaned up immediately, an absolute no-go in a restaurant. 4) Some of the schnitzels (Milanese) were very tough because they hadn't been tapped. 5) Smoked an e-cigarette in front of me while paying the bill; that has no place in a restaurant. Bottle White wine after criticism but that does not change the facts
