10/03/2026: ⛳️ A magnificent, manicured course, a pro shop with a great collection of branded merchandise, and excellent service since the takeover (Ataula). Beyond that, and having played at the club for almost 20 years, I can attest that the facilities are very well maintained and the driving range is easily accessible and clean. Members should note the very well-organized chipping area at the rear of the driving range. But that's not all; beyond its rich history, Hossegor Golf Club excels in team sports, is developing a top-tier golf academy (some of whose players go on to play in the USA), and knows how to innovate, as evidenced by its recent partnership with Victor Dubuisson 👏. It's a great place to feel at home, a place to meet up with fellow golfers and friends for a drink or lunch on the weekend. And of course, to enjoy the course ⛳️

06/06/2026: I tried this restaurant for the first time since the change of ownership. I ordered a Savoyard burger and a Kinder Bueno mousse. I found the service efficient and quick. The organization and desire to do well are evident, and you feel very welcome, especially since the restaurant has recently been renovated. Areas for improvement, in my opinion: For the burger: I noticed a commitment to using fresh, homemade ingredients, which is noteworthy and much appreciated. I found the filling flavorful and beautifully presented. However, I wasn't as fond of the burger bun, which I found too dry and prone to breaking. It could be slightly softer, which would reduce the dryness when eating it. For the Kinder Bueno mousse: the mousse itself is good, not too sweet. It has a lovely creaminess; the mousse has clearly been well chilled, and you can tell. For the Kinder Bueno pieces placed on top, I would recommend adding them last because in the refrigerator, the creamy filling inside the Kinder Bueno solidifies and becomes almost solid, which detracts from the enjoyment of eating them, which are known for their creamy, gooey texture. Regarding the restrooms, which I also visited, I found them to be easily accessible for people with reduced mobility and that there were dedicated restrooms, which is excellent. As for handwashing, I found it difficult to press the tap to get the water flowing. This is even more challenging when your hands are soapy; it could almost be dangerous. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience. Thank you to the whole team!

27/03/2026: I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The waiter was extremely rude to us from beginning to end. We were a group of women, and he spoke to us in a disrespectful and condescending manner, which is completely unacceptable. He even refused to let us stay, claiming we had to order at least four shishas because there were five of us, even though we also wanted drinks and food. This rule made no sense and was imposed in a very unpleasant way. We felt unwelcome and clearly disrespected. This kind of behavior gives the establishment a very bad image. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

24/04/2026: We discovered La Table de l'Alpaga during our stay in Megève, and everything was perfect. Delicate and flavorful dishes, a magnificent setting, and attentive service. We had a truly magical time.

22/02/2026: Undoubtedly an excellent restaurant, but I was still a little disappointed by the choice of dishes. A revisited onion soup, endives, beef, and vegetables in the style of a pot-au-feu—certainly extremely well-revisited and elegantly presented—but the ingredients were still simple. The staff was very attentive. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, which I had mentioned when making the reservation, and the chocolate plaque that accompanied our dessert was engraved with "Happy Wedding Anniversary"... what a shame...

16/05/2026: We chose L’Âtre because of its Michelin Guide recommendation, and given the prices (€90 for the six-course menu), we expected a more refined gastronomic experience. Unfortunately, the welcome felt rather cold, and the cuisine lacked coherence and finesse. Some of the combinations were unconvincing, and the succession of two courses with cream sauces made the meal quite monotonous. The chocolate dessert was also disappointing. It's a shame, because the wine pairing was quite successful and enjoyable throughout the meal. A mixed experience that didn't quite live up to the expectations raised by the establishment.

08/05/2026: A wonderful experience, with freshly caught scallops cooked to perfection, and excellent desserts as well.

02/07/2026: Returned to this restaurant after a 10 year absence. The atmosphere just as good as we remembered. Spectacular views of the castle from the rear terrace. The food was amazing. A great choice, to please hungry meat eaters but also vegetarians. The staff really helpful and friendly. We turned up without a reservation for lunch as a party of 8 and they moved tables around to accommodate us. A must visit establishment for good food, amazing views and value for money.
