17/09/2024: Short menu only in French but the charming staff happily explained. 2 courses 43 euros and 3 is 49 euros. 3 choices of starter, main, dessert and an off-menu starter and main was also offered. A complimentary small cup of complex broth was followed by slices of a good, crusty bread and they were not afraid of offering the heel, my favourite part (but no butter). The lobster starter was +15 euros but impressively soft and fresh. All our dishes were complex and delicious. The mains, unusually, as much as the starters, Courses were free of the long waits between beloved of many french restaurants. One of the best meals of this year, perhaps even several years.

08/09/2024: From start to finish a wonderful experience. We were well looked after by our waiting staff who engaged with us beautifully and warmly . Given we couldn't speak french very well this was very nice. The food was superb and faultlessly executed. The best fish cookery i have experienced. Only negative was the noise level of the restaurant as it filled up and the tables were very close. I understand that is a constraint of the size . In summary food and service fantastic . dix a dix !

23/02/2026: We stopped at this lovely bar for a coffee and dessert. We indulged in a tarte tatin with crème fraîche—delicious! The welcome was warm and the bar very pleasant.

21/02/2026: This bar is ideally located for anyone wanting to stroll around the Town Hall, whether in the morning, afternoon, or evening. The servers are helpful and friendly, especially Jonathan. Finally, there's a very wide selection of beers and the food is quite good.

02/02/2026: A fabulous discovery! From the sharing platter to the dessert, everything was absolutely magnificent. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentations worthy of a gourmet restaurant. The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and warm. The establishment is superb, decorated with great taste. A particular highlight was the black and white Beetlejuice-style corridor leading to the restrooms—original and memorable! Note: the restaurant offers wine by the glass as well as by the carafe, which is a very nice touch. The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the dishes and their presentation. We will definitely be back. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

31/01/2026: What a wonderful discovery! A bistro-style restaurant. A warm welcome, pleasant servers, and no wait. The meal itself was refined, with excellent ingredients, and a feast for the eyes and the palate. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

01/03/2026: We only tried the four house specialties, which was a good selection. The tagliatelle with morels was excellent and very easy to digest. We were eager to return to try the specialties with smoked trout from Châteauroux. We had a cold plate on one side and a casserole on the other. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had the Vacherin Grand Marnier the first time and the Pavlova and Vacherin Chartreuse the second. We highly recommend it.

27/01/2026: Just passing through on a Sunday evening. A relaxed, friendly atmosphere with delicious, satisfying food. The owner/cook is a real character, a business like in the old days, with genuinely straightforward manner and remarkable kindness. It's not very big, but at least it creates a lovely dining ambiance :) I had the mussels and fries; the sauce was delicious, and the prices are very reasonable, which is a real plus. Thank you!
