31/12/2024: Endroit authentique pour manger des fruits de mer .Une cheminée au centre de l’établissement qui réchauffe l’ambiance.Plateau très copieux et prix plus que raisonnable.A refaire avec plaisir.
04/11/2024: Rien à redire pour les fruits de mer excellents semble-t-il ; par contre très déçu par les moules. 3 moules frites différentes, toutes à peine tièdes, la sauce assez fade et liquide ; beaucoup de coquilles vides. Et un petit saladier de frites pour 4, c'est mesquin.

02/12/2025: I haven't tried many restaurants in Nancy yet, but this one was a great find. It's unassuming from the outside and inside, but the traditional French cuisine is excellent and plentiful, all at very reasonable prices. A great experience. I recommend it.
14/11/2025: A lovely little restaurant, charming decor, friendly atmosphere, and excellent service. The menu has a limited selection, but it's sufficient. The food is very good, and the sauces are delicious.
We went back two days in a row.

06/12/2025: A dinner party for 30 friends on Friday evening. The restaurant was booked exclusively for the occasion. The welcome and decor were warm and inviting. Impeccable service. The owner and his team were incredibly attentive.
Generous portions. A tempting menu.
Highly recommended.

07/12/2025: Our friends booked in advance and informed the restaurant that we were vegetarian. All three courses were very tasty and the wine was perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The chef is very passionate about the food, wine and Armagnac. We will definitely be back.

A magnificent, peaceful, and lush setting, a warm welcome, and attentive staff... Everything you need for a perfect stay.
Small details that could be improved: the air conditioning is a bit strong and the outdoor furniture is a bit dated, but nothing that detracts from the charm of the place. I'll be happy to come back!

The cuisine showcases high-quality ingredients beautifully. I highly recommend the seared tuna and the perfectly cooked pollock. The desserts are also divine.
The service was friendly and very professional.
My only complaint: the interior dining room in winter. It contrasts sharply with the overall quality of the restaurant. Renovations to make it more refined would certainly enhance this delightful experience.
01/11/2025: What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was for lunch! A very warm and attentive welcome, delicious and expertly prepared cuisine using seasonal ingredients! Plus, a beautiful view of Villerouge Castle.
We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment! We will be back.

10/12/2025: Our third visit to this beautiful authentic restaurant hosted by a wonderful family. Many thanks to the owner for making us feeling more than welcome. The food was amazing. Especially the tournedos was the best I have ever experienced. We will definitely come back for another anniversary. Calais is lucky to have a restaurant with top notch quality.
Ps: the Chateau du Pape 2016 was absolument fantastique!
