24/09/2024: Arriving in from California, we were stuck for dinner one night and luckily ran into Piere of Le Central who warmly greeted us into the restaurant. What an experience. We ate there for the next five nights, made many new friends, met others from California as well as locals. A nice friendly place with great food.

22/09/2024: Venus pour passer une soirée détente : pour commencer pas le choix de la table, erreur sur la commande du vin, mais surtout 2 " cocktails de crevettes" indignes de ce nom: 1/2 avocat, quelques crevettes de conserve à côté et 1 crevette rose avec un petit pot de mayonnaise colorée en rouge par une quelconque sauce tomate.Ensuite , des moules si petites qu'on ne pouvait même pas les attraper , bien sèches car sans aucun jus et un tronçon de turbot avec une sauce hollandaise tellement farineuse et figée qu'elle ne pouvait pas s'écouler de la saucière. Nous n'avons pas eu le courage d'aller jusqu'au dessert et le maître d'hôtel, désappointé mais compréhensif, a eu plus de classe que le chef car il a spontanément raccourci l'addition. Nous y étions allés plusieurs fois cet hiver sans trop de problèmes mais depuis les travaux nos expériences se sont dégradées jusqu'à celle-ci, catastrophique.Soirée gâchée , nous n'y retournerons plus.

30/11/2025: Impeccable, fair, and flawless service. Perfectly executed cuisine. Delicious flavors, perfectly cooked dishes, beautiful ingredients. A delightful lightness in every dish. A truly perfect experience. We will gladly return to try the other offerings. A special mention for the Grand Marnier soufflé; it's rare to find one so expertly prepared.

28/11/2025: A truly wonderful place! We went to Bistrot Chic with friends and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant, and the food is absolutely delicious. The service is attentive, the dishes are delightful, and the whole experience makes you want to come back. Thank you to Olivier and his team. I highly recommend it!

07/07/2025: Our second summer in Les Eyzies. One of the things we looked forward to, was to visit this pizzeria again. The pizzas are really tasty! Friendly staff who understands English perfectly, but reply in French. Which is not a problem whatsoever, even though I do not understand French. I absolutely recommend this place!

I came by chance to order a daily special without really relying on the quality of the food, and what a surprise I found myself ordering two daily specials. The prices are more than affordable, especially considering the very friendly team that puts you at ease. The quality of the service is top-notch, smiling and attentive. A nod to Eden 🤩. A chic place but also warm. I insist again on the prices, it's really worth it!!! If I'd like to do it again, I'll definitely come back. 14/11/2024: I go to the Assassin every Thursday evening with my theater group after our session and we are always received with a smile and impeccable service! Good beer, good fries! I highly recommend!

11/11/2024: We were a group of 4 for a drink and this bar is very good, the prices are fair and the staff are friendly However, a little surprised when a DRUNK man (who said he worked for the bar) came to get us drunk and talk nonsense when we were in front of the Assassin and were about to leave Other than that very good I recommend

06/11/2025: A small crêperie in the center of Rochefort. They use high-quality local and Breton products, with a subtle combination of flavors. The service is quick and friendly, with clear explanations. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended!

We ordered galettes: the one with egg was delicious, but we didn't like the charcuterie one as much, although perhaps it was simply a matter of personal preference. We found the beer quite expensive, more than we expected. Even so, I recommend the bar because the food is good, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is excellent. The waitresses who served us were very, very friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. In short, a good place to enjoy a relaxed meal.
