17/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! Family lunch today. Thymalus menu. The starters, main courses, and desserts were a delight for everyone, both in terms of presentation and flavor. Top-notch service and a fantastic chef in the kitchen 😉👍 and a superb Ardèche white wine.

13/05/2026: Arriving at the door, it's a bit perplexing, but once you step inside, the interior is lovely with a very unique decor. The service was perfect; the person was warm and welcoming. The galettes are a real treat, far superior to what you find in other restaurants in terms of originality (the galette with sardine rillettes, the galette with a soft-boiled egg—absolutely amazing!). It's a shame we didn't have time for dessert, but we'll definitely keep this address in mind if we're ever back in the area. Best of luck to the team!

12/02/2026: Le Mermoz restaurant, located at Valence Airport, is an excellent choice that I highly recommend. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and very professional, making every visit a truly pleasant experience. The food is consistently high-quality, with a varied and comprehensive menu that offers something for everyone. The small outdoor bar is a real bonus, perfect for sharing a moment with friends or relaxing while waiting for a table. However, it's best to book in advance, as the restaurant is often quite busy. One small point to note for pilots: there's no direct access from the airside; you have to go through the terminal to enter and exit, but it's only about a five-minute walk.

22/05/2026: Excellent. Very good service, warm welcome. The complete meal with a buffet of starters, main course (andouillette sausage with fries), cheese platter, dessert, a quarter-liter of wine, and coffee for 18 euros. Unbeatable value for money in this area.

02/06/2026: We went as a family with a 9-month-old baby and we loved it. The park is fantastic, clean, and beautiful. The animals are gorgeous. The goat enclosure is amazing. I highly recommend it for all ages. There's a large, free parking lot. The restaurant, Les Cocottes, was very good. We'll be back! 😁

02/06/2026: Two extraordinary days in February 2026: a gift for my 60th birthday, I will remember it for the rest of my life. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the accommodation, the staff, the meals in the lodge... everything, everything was magical. I slept with the wolves with my children (32 and 35 years old) and my daughter-in-law. It's all still vivid in my mind. I absolutely loved those two days, thank you so much. Your park is magnificent.

28/04/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent service. The food was superb. The setting is truly lovely, especially outdoors when the weather is nice. The view of the Oise River is pleasant. It's a shame that the occasional train slightly spoiled the peace and quiet and the riverside atmosphere.

15/04/2026: Hearty nose-to-tail cuisine with dishes you won’t find in most French restaurants, but the service (or lack thereof) really does take away from the experience. We went to Amarante for lunch on a weekday. Amarante specialises in traditional French cuisine, with a focus on offal. For starters, we took the veal tongue and the pork trotters. Both dishes were relatively simple in presentation, but very well executed, especially the veal tongue which had a delicious mustard based condiment. For mains, we took the sweetbread and the chicken. Both meats were cooked perfectly: nicely caramelised, with succulent crispy skin for the chicken and a very juicy interior. The sweetbread was very rich and melted in the mouth, though we felt it lacked a bit of salt. However it was served with a superb potato mash which had a smooth texture but a really strong potato flavour which was delicious. For desserts, we had their dark chocolate mousse and their almond cake. Both desserts contained very little sugar which was very impressive, and had a really strong flavour of the raw ingredient (cacao and almonds). The mousse in particular was among the best we’ve had. Purely judging on the food, this would be a 4/5. It’s simple cooking, but very well executed. The service however brings this down to a 3/5. Our waiter was quite cold, and somewhat rude at times, almost taking offense when we asked for salt for the veal sweetbread. We were also never asked whether we enjoyed certain dishes, and overall this made the experience less enjoyable.

01/04/2026: do book ahead! loved the food. we went there for lunch and got the worker's lunch set. we got the veal tongue and pork rillettes as starters. veal cheak and pork chop for mains. and almond cake with pear ice cream, and lemony meringue thing (which was the only thing we didn't really like) they gave sourdough instead of baguette as the bread! the waiter was v nice and accommodating by speaking in english with us! he recommended good red wine to pair with our meal too.

02/06/2026: Everything exceeded my expectations. The food was beautiful, delicious, and perfectly prepared. There wasn’t a single thing to complain about—it was an absolutely wonderful and happy evening.

31/05/2026: We were disappointed with our dinner. My friend was served a starter (poached eggs) that was unfortunately sprinkled with an overpowering spice that completely masked the flavor. My starter (cromesqui) was disappointing, a pasty, tasteless cromesqui on a bed of overly salty vegetables. My friend's main course, however, was delicious (pork ribs), and I didn't enjoy my own (lamb) either. The young man who served us was very nice. I wouldn't recommend it for the price.
