22/09/2024: Delicious cuisine, a very warm welcome and good advice on accompaniments. I loved the decoration with canvases hanging from the ceiling.

21/09/2024: Excellent menu at a more than fair price. With excellent wine pairing. Fine dining at its best. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star. Or several Gault Millau toques. Unfortunately it is a bit hidden and away from the tourist routes on the edge of the old town of Vannes. We discovered it by chance through a Google search. Absolute recommendation for very good food in a nice, unpretentious environment. I liked it better than the highly praised ArMenDu, which celebrated its class a bit too much.

10/07/2025: As always, we had a wonderful time. The owner adapted one of the dishes to suit one of us. The dishes were very well prepared and generous.

10/11/2025: A fantastic restaurant with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, an authentic, rustic atmosphere, and delicious Alsatian food. If your French is a bit rusty (like ours), you can get by with German. Definitely recommended!

09/07/2025: Me and my friends visited Chez Steph for lunch and we all had different cuts of steak from the menu. Each steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The steaks come with fries which were also tasty. The prices are very good for a steak meal and the service was very quick. Would definitely recommended if you are in the area!

09/12/2025: A wonderful experience! The servers and chefs were very friendly! Everything was perfect 😀 We had the gnocchi with mushrooms and parmesan, and the beef tartare with foie gras—both excellent! We'll definitely be back.

08/12/2025: Excellent food and impeccable service. We started with delicious foie gras and continued with duck and free-range chicken, both cooked to perfection. The waiter recommended an excellent wine and took care of us with great professionalism, always making us feel at ease. During dinner, both the owner and the chef stopped by our table to ensure everything was to our liking: a truly rare and appreciated level of customer service. At the end of the meal, the complimentary liqueurs offered by the owner were the icing on the cake. This place is definitely worth a visit: we will gladly return.

14/11/2025: We don't go there anymore. For a long time, we were regulars, but a very bad experience made us change our minds for good. One day, we had the misfortune of arriving slightly before service started: a frosty welcome, unpleasant remarks, and a very clear feeling that we were bothering them. When regular customers are treated like that, it's no wonder they don't come back. Regulars deserve respect and pampering – otherwise, they should find another line of work.

02/10/2025: A very pleasant surprise to discover this restaurant. In an old stone setting, this old village house, superbly enhanced by the decor, its soft and slightly vintage atmosphere, is worth a stop. Too bad it's closed all winter.

The food was excellent and the service was very fast. I would also like to compliment the squid tentacles, which were absolutely succulent!! All in all: a delightful evening thanks to the team at the Calicots restaurant. Thank you!

06/09/2024: We were warmly welcomed by Claudine on arrival. The restaurant is run by her and her husband who are both very sweet. We had fondue and it was magnificent. It's a bit pricier than the outside of town but it's worth the extra money. We would definitely go again.

26/08/2024: I recommend this restaurant. They are very welcoming. They offered us an aperitif and a digestive. The trout is excellent. The decor is nice and rustic

The setting is simply majestic: a breathtaking ocean view, a manicured garden, and an elegant atmosphere that offers a true escape from time. But beyond the venue, I would like to commend the entire team for their attentive support and attentiveness. Their attentiveness and constant listening greatly facilitated the organization and contributed to the success of this unique day. A huge thank you to the entire team at Domaine de la Gressière for their professionalism and hospitality. A place I wholeheartedly recommend, both to future brides and grooms and to passionate service providers like myself.
