18/07/2026: How can I put it? The welcome, the atmosphere, the service, the food, the quality of the ingredients—everything was perfect! Yes, the price is a bit steep, but considering the quality of the restaurant, it's definitely worth it. We'll be back without hesitation!

17/07/2026: From the moment we arrived until the end of the meal, everything was perfect. The flavors were all there, from the appetizer to the dessert... I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chef came to greet his guests. The staff was very pleasant, without being intrusive. I highly recommend QUAI 38.

19/07/2026: While on holiday in the region, we discovered a wonderful little restaurant. The welcome and service were always with a smile, and the food was delicious. Kudos to the chef and his team! A word of advice: book in advance, as it fills up quickly given the quality, service, and prices. We'll definitely be back soon.

21/07/2026: Delicious roast chicken sandwich in baguette. Got mine toasted. Yum! Easy grab and go spot for an affordable lunch. Grab a sandwich and walk to the Luxembourg Gardens.

17/07/2026: From the outside, the restaurant might not look like much, but once you step inside, it's a very pleasant surprise! The welcome is truly warm, Charles is very friendly and attentive, and Virginie's cooking is simply excellent. We enjoyed delicious dishes and had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this place!

27/07/2026: After making a reservation through TheFork, the restaurant cancelled our reservation 10 minutes before the scheduled time. This justifies my extremely negative review of this restaurant, given their poor reservation system, especially considering we had a 30-minute drive, meaning we had already been traveling for 20 minutes. Thank you for wasting my time and ruining my evening.

25/07/2026: We visited Avec Toi as a large group of 13 to celebrate a family gathering. The restaurant is located just outside of Avignon in a beautiful villa. We were welcomed by the hostess and were seated in the main room. The atmosphere was great, cozy, with music playing at low volume, just perfect to entertain conversations. As we visited for lunch, our party had a choice between 3 formulas (appetizer+entrée, entrée+dessert, or appetizer+entrée+dessert) with today's suggestions. The menu also included a more diverse choice of appetizers, entrées and dessert (a la carte option). The waitress was very polite, nice and professional. The service was top notch. We never had to ask for more water when the pitcher was empty, our glasses were refilled with wine when they needed to be refilled. The food was all made on site and a particular attention was put on the esthetics and the presentation, which were amazing. The kids menu was not extensive (fish or meat) but the food was prepared and presented as the adult food was. Lastly, the prices are very competitive! We will definitely return when we visit Avignon in the future!

28/07/2026: Eight of us arrived at the restaurant by bicycle and received a warm welcome. I highly recommend it as an elegant restaurant offering fantastic gourmet cuisine.

12/06/2026: **Getting ripped off at lunchtime 🫒😅** Tried it today at La Verrière in Boulogne. Verdict? A complete rip-off. I tried the chicken and mozzarella croque monsieur for €15.90. Frankly, it was bland and dry. Inside, the chicken tenders were cut so perfectly, down to the millimeter, that the industrial tray was practically opened in a hurry. Zero effort, wasted zucchini, a completely invisible béchamel sauce, and no seasoning whatsoever. The only positive point was the Poilâne bread: a nice gray crumb, nice and crusty, but it doesn't make a meal. To top it all off, the salad is… extra! Add a half-pint of flat beer (obviously from the end of the keg), and you end up with a total of €23.59 for two pieces of bread and three vacuum-packed pieces of chicken. In football jargon, we call that getting ripped off. Price-wise, the rest of the menu is outrageous: beef cheek for €26 (the cheapest cut on the butcher's counter, you have to hand it to them) and sea bream for €27. Then they wonder why customers are abandoning traditional brasseries for fast food… I'm only giving it 2/5 because the staff were okay and the terrace on the main square is quite pleasant for people-watching. You seriously need to rethink your approach, La Verrière. You can't serve mediocre food at the price of a near-Michelin-starred restaurant. It just doesn't work.

16/04/2026: Pleasant terrace, large parking lot, lovely setting, and excellent cuisine. The only downside is the approximately 40-minute wait if you order directly for the main course without a starter. In any case, I would recommend ordering all three courses if you don't want to leave hungry, as the portions were considered a bit small by everyone in our party (we were six adults).
