18/08/2026: The setting and beachfront location are undeniably pleasant, but that's not enough to compensate for the rest. The overall quality is lacking, and the customer service leaves much to be desired. And above all, since when is it the waiter's prerogative to decide that three customers should squeeze around small bistro tables designed for two? It's clearly not a question of space, but simply of profitability. One can understand an establishment trying to optimize its seating, but the customer remains free to decide under what conditions they are willing to sit. A customer isn't simply a wallet to be moved around at the establishment's whim. The impression of an establishment operating in cahoots with the boats that take tourists to Le Canon unfortunately reinforces this feeling of being a tourist trap. Fortunately, other establishments in the area are significantly better, with a welcome and consideration for the customer that seem to be much more evident. I do not recommend this establishment.

04/10/2026: Food TOP, but… First off, the food was delicious and solid. I chose the market menu, two courses for €23. A €6 surcharge was added for changing the main course from bonito or veal kidneys to sweetbreads. Since the "Ris de Veau" (veal risotto) had piqued my interest, I ordered it as an additional course – and that's when the meal took a decisive turn; I hadn't asked about the price of the dish. If the server had informed me, I could certainly have avoided my later frustration with the restaurant's pricing policy. First, to my surprise, both dishes (the veal kidneys and the veal risotto) were served simultaneously; you don't see that every day! The fact that the "intermediate course" was later charged at an extra €32 was the next surprise. Unfortunately, for me, the value for money was completely off, apart from the "standard menu." A shame. However, the ingenuity of the pricing for menu changes at this restaurant is, in my opinion, very creative, but unfortunately not objective since the prices aren't displayed. In that case, even the friendly service can't compensate.

07/09/2026: We discovered this superb crêperie during a weekend visit to Rouen. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the wide selection of savory buckwheat crêpes, sweet crêpes, and homemade salads means there's something for everyone. The sweet buckwheat and sweet crêpes are generous and delicious. We thank the team for their excellent service, which made for a wonderful evening, and we highly recommend this place!

06/07/2026: You have to enjoy close proximity and tactile interaction. The waiter was very friendly and easygoing. Even though I arrived late, the service was perfect. The food was delicious, hot even piping hot. It's not my first time eating there, and I highly recommend it! P.S. Be careful, the light in the restroom is outside the room 😜

18/07/2026: A wonderful discovery at this small, family-run restaurant, Au Coin de Malte. The dishes were truly excellent, with flavors that are a refreshing change from the usual fare. The service was quick and the entire staff was lovely, making the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention goes to the prices, which are extremely affordable for Paris, with, if I remember correctly, a three-course meal for €16.50, which is becoming increasingly rare. I absolutely loved the panna cotta; I devoured it before I even thought to take a picture, it was so delicious! A place I highly recommend.

A smiling, attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly waiter makes all the difference! He took excellent care of us and greatly contributed to making our evening even more enjoyable. It's so nice to encounter someone who loves their job and knows how to make customers feel welcome. 18/09/2026: I do not recommend this place: the service is appalling and the food is completely inedible. The woman in the kitchen wasn't even wearing a hairnet. I ordered a dish and was served only cabbage and a few beans with cold rice, straight from the refrigerator, which looked like it had been prepared several days ago.

The presentation was truly exquisite; you could see that each plate was prepared with great care. The flavors were spot on, and the ingredients seemed to be of very high quality. The dessert was equally delicious and perfectly presented. A true feast for the eyes and the palate! Thank you for this excellent meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.
