04/03/2026: First visit to Main 2023 Restaurant in Plobsheim. Parking is easy. The building is clean and well-maintained on the outside. The interior is just as welcoming. It's clean, well laid out, and nicely decorated. Friendly service. The tarte flambée oven is in the dining room, so you can see how the tartes are prepared and baked. The menu features typical Alsatian dishes. The half tarte flambée is excellent. It's generously filled, the cheese is perfectly seasoned, and above all, it's cooked to perfection. The soft-boiled egg with sautéed mushrooms, marinated Alsatian poultry, poultry jus, and bacon crisps is also excellent. The bread is fresh. The Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream sundae) for €7.70 is a real treat. It's enormous and delicious. An excellent place for tarte flambée. Second visit in February 2026 We were given two menus, and the two menus didn't have the same prices (for beer). The tarte flambée is still just as good, although the bacon could have been distributed a little better on the tart. The Dame Blanche isn't as big anymore; it's gone from €7.70 to €9.50, and it's still missing the chocolate sauce. The quality is still there, even if the prices have increased significantly in two years.

21/02/2026: It was delicious, refined, and elegant. The fish and meat dishes were a delight, and the desserts were wonderful. All of this was accompanied by a very good natural wine.

03/01/2026: On our last night in Paris, we were so overstuffed with fantastic food that we just wanted some good wine, good cheese, and good charcuterie, and this place delivered! They bring a list of current items and you can pick and choose your own combo. The wines were unusual and delicious, along with the meat/cheese board we assembled. Great place!

17/11/2025: The service was friendly. However, the prices seemed particularly high for what was offered. The wine list offered a good selection, but the prices were high for lesser-known wines. The charcuterie and cheeses were standard fare, nothing exceptional, but the fig appetizer was excellent.

02/12/2025: A true 3-star hotel, steeped in French tradition and with a soul. It's a far cry from the large hotel chains of today, all of which look alike. Here, you are truly "welcomed," more than just a guest. Everything is done to ensure your satisfaction. We even received excellent advice for exploring the region. Our room was perfect, conveniently located at the back, very practical for our small dog. Spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping, and the bedding was high quality. Furthermore, there's an excellent restaurant offering a variety of delicious dishes, expertly prepared with fresh, local ingredients, served with a smile in a charming dining room, reflecting the high standards of French tradition. This hotel has real character. Here, you'll find genuine hospitality and a commitment to customer satisfaction that goes far beyond mere hospitality.

02/02/2026: Excellent food, as usual! It's hard to choose just one dish; you want to try everything. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming; you feel very welcome. Just one small complaint: the cashier at the end of the meal wasn't very friendly or welcoming. A shame...

20/01/2026: This restaurant transported us back to the culinary art of the 80s. In just a few minutes, you're transported 40 years back in time, much to your delight. The 80s are evident not only in the food but also in the decor. Everything was delicious. If there's one area for improvement, it's the cooking of the fish, which was a little overcooked, even by 80s standards.

The restaurant, with its pleasant atmosphere, isn't a factory churning out dishes assembly-line style. As for the food, it was a real treat. Beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. 31/10/2025: Friendly and professional staff, clean establishment, good food overall, but one major drawback: the galette wasn't homemade and was cold, a real shame for a crêperie. Disappointed.

13/10/2025: Very friendly restaurant, with pleasant and welcoming staff. The only slight hiccup: our order was forgotten. There were a lot of people there, so this can happen and it's not a big deal. On the other hand, it would have been appreciated if the waitress had acknowledged it rather than pretending that everything was fine. That said, the atmosphere was still pleasant and we still had a good time.
