An excellent menu that reveals the chef's delight in creating it, punctuated by numerous, flavorful, and original touches. Unique tableware. A well-balanced wine list. Everything is locally sourced, including the decorative elements. How lucky the residents of Amboise are to have such an establishment! But we, the locals from Fondettes, had a truly delightful time. Don't change a thing...

19/02/2026: A restaurant that warms the heart; the staff is impeccable, polite, and welcoming. You feel right at home, and the quality-to-price ratio is one of the best. A wonderful discovery.

02/03/2026: A truly wonderful experience! We came with two young children and were warmly welcomed by a charming, smiling lady. Booster seats, high chairs, and even toys for the children were provided! We had a fantastic meal: truffade and chicken supreme with blue cheese (the sauce was a special mention). For dessert, the homemade rice pudding and blueberry tart were superb. We'll be back! :)

28/02/2026: An unforgettable evening in this cozy little restaurant. The two servers were incredibly attentive. By calling three days in advance, we were able to reserve a fondue bourguignonne with truly excellent beef and impeccable homemade sauces! The owner is a former butcher who really knows his stuff. He, his wife, and the staff all went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Probably the best fondue bourguignonne I've ever had in a restaurant! We'll be back with pleasure! Thank you so much for everything!

04/02/2026: An efficient and varied menu, everything is homemade and you can taste the difference. Impeccable service, I recommend the chocolate fondant cake which will melt in your mouth.

15/01/2026: We strolled through the village streets in August and found this very unique restaurant, which is also very affordable compared to its competitors. The place is lovely; the leafy terrace is a real treat in the sunshine. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our daughters even received a little gift at the end—that was fantastic! It's not much, but the gesture was truly appreciated.

19/02/2026: An incredible experience at Le Petit Verdot for a dinner with friends in July. Hidé's welcome was exceptional, the meal a delight, and the wine selection outstanding. An address to keep secret, but not too secret.

03/02/2026: A triumphant return to this exceptional restaurant and to what used to be my neighborhood, just a stone's throw from the private mansion of the legendary Gérard Depardieu. Hide Ishizuka is a quintessential Japanese man, with an added bonus in my eyes: he was born in Hokkaido, a land of snow and fire. You either love it or you don't (some Americans who left a review were less enthusiastic: "Why am I not surprised?"). Personally, I love it. As a ceramicist, he transports me back to those small villages of the archipelago where genuine modesty and the truth of a millennia-old civilization are embodied in unforgettable people, people of great worth, poets and artists whose legacy is truly enduring. The dishes we tasted were flawless, especially the sweetbreads and the chestnut cream. And then, as always, we discovered a wine we hadn't yet encountered, such as this "southern" Syrah from the Roc des Anges estate. Rue du Cherche-midi remains highly safe to visit!

26/08/2025: What a surprise to have enjoyed ourselves at the Yacht Club restaurant. A €25 menu for starter, main course, and dessert is exceptionally high-quality, worthy of a Michelin star. And then there's the welcoming and friendly service. A must-see in Dinard. We'll be back.

17/08/2025: Saturday evening on the terrace, we received a very warm welcome from two young women, Romane and Agathe, who were incredibly professional. Their wine and beer recommendations were excellent, the food was delicious, and the view added to a truly wonderful evening. Thank you to these two very friendly and smiling young women who certainly earned their drinks. We will gladly return to relive this superb experience.
