02/05/2026: We just tried the new menu under the very friendly new owners. Thank you, it was a great time! The food is homemade and delicious, with homemade fries that really make a difference. The quality of the dishes is excellent, and the value for money is outstanding. Superb atmosphere and warm welcome. We will definitely be back.

01/06/2026: After 15 years of moving and changing regions, I'm back here with my family, because I've been craving fried food all this time. I don't think words can adequately express my gratitude to the staff at this restaurant. As the mother of a child with special needs, when we arrived to make the reservation, my son had a meltdown. I had to leave the restaurant immediately, leaving my companions behind. We had already specified in the reservation that we needed a table away from the main dining area, which was admirably respected. So, I waited for my family in the parking lot with my son and partner. When I asked if I could get my fried food to go, I was treated like royalty: generous portions of fried food, fries, lemon sauce, milk, napkins, and cutlery. Honestly, it was fantastic. We were even able to take our dessert to go in the parking lot. When I returned to the restaurant to thank them, I was greeted by two truly charming and empathetic ladies who understood disability without judgment. I can't thank you enough for your delicious food, as I've been dreaming of this fried food for over 10 years. You were so responsive and flexible with my requests and with my son's behavior following his autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. A thousand thanks, without a doubt. I'll be back when I visit my parents again. You're the best, don't change a thing! ❤️❤️❤️ I also want to mention for those who are afraid of bones that my 20-year-old son hadn't eaten fried food for several years because he always had the misfortune of getting pieces with large bones, and one of them got stuck—we were terrified. Since discovering this restaurant, which he just introduced me to, he eats it regularly. You can go there without hesitation; the service, the welcome, the seating, the taste, the friendliness, the smiles—everything is perfect. A thousand thanks.

23/05/2026: Great fried food and a very nice, pleasant place in a small village setting. The owner is very friendly, as is the pretty waitress. The fried food is excellent, especially the fries, which I loved. They also do good takeaway meals, and the desserts are trendy, so it's really fantastic. I'll definitely be back. And across the street is a butcher shop with meat and a selection of sausages and kebabs for a barbecue evening, with very friendly staff.

02/04/2026: This is just such a lovely spot - location location location to reward yourself after your run. And the food is so good - I got the pork burger (pulled pork, not patty) and it was succulent and perfect. Came with baby potatoes and a salad. Good drinks, good coffee. My vegetarian husband got the mushroom omelette which he enjoyed too. The folks are warm and obliged our very basic French and we’ll definitely be back! We walked in and got a table at like 12:30p but good idea to reserve if you cannot seems.

09/05/2026: Cute little bistro, French-Japanese fusion. Servers were all Japanese, I enjoyed my dinner there. No complaints and great food, I can’t really understand some of the negative reviews on here and I’m glad I ignored them. Worth a visit

13/05/2026: Following a wonderful experience at this crêperie, I'm leaving a very positive review. Jade was extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient. The crêpes were delicious. However, I must mention the attitude of one of the waiters who was nonchalant and spent his time rolling his eyes. Not great. We'll still be back, though, because the savory buckwheat crêpes were excellent and the atmosphere very pleasant.

14/06/2026: An incredible stay. The entire team, without exception, took excellent care of us and our 8-month-old daughter. They even accommodated specific requests (like a dishwasher in the room). The concierge, the pool, the bar, and the lobby were all very pleasant. This hotel truly deserves its 5 stars and is very kid-friendly. One small drawback was the parking. We were told not to necessarily reserve a space, and upon arrival, the parking lot was full (we may have misunderstood). However, a solution was found without any problems or delays.

08/06/2026: Passing through Deauville for the CSIO, I stopped for tea and to work at the hotel bar. The white tea was delicious, the service impeccable—no complaints there. However, in the bar, I had the charming company of a mouse, which accompanied my tea by scurrying between my legs, wandering between the restaurant area and the lobby, nibbling on leftover chips on the carpet and tiles. I reported Ratatouille's presence to the bar staff, who assured me that management would be informed. While my initial aim in reporting this wasn't to obtain compensation, which I politely declined, a gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated in a 5-star establishment with this level of service. This comment is not intended to recoup anything retroactively. But simply to ensure that this experience isn't repeated by other customers in the coming weeks, and that the relevant teams are indeed alerted. This contrast clashes with the place and its legendary atmosphere.

25/05/2026: A terrible experience, and unfortunately, it's not even the first time. Yes, they seat you quickly, but after that, prepare to wait forever. The service is catastrophic: slow, disorganized, and you have to ask for things several times before being acknowledged. The worst part is the food: the chicken in our dish arrived raw. We pointed it out and asked them to cook it again… only for it to come back raw. Honestly, is this a joke? Serving undercooked chicken once is unacceptable, but a second time is simply outrageous. And unfortunately, this isn't our first bad experience here. On a previous visit, my partner became very ill with gastroenteritis symptoms after eating at the restaurant. We called to report the situation, and instead of even a minimal apology or empathy, the only response was that they would "check with the chef." No follow-up, no taking responsibility, not even an apology. A complete joke. No gesture of goodwill, no real attempt to address the situation. They even offered us desserts as if everything was normal, but in the end, we still had to pay for everything despite a deplorable experience. Between the interminable service, the undercooked food, and the total lack of professionalism in addressing the reported problems, we will never set foot in this place again. Very disappointing!

24/05/2026: I understand that the goal of any business is to make money, but they should also respect their customers: - lukewarm or even hot water - the signature dish (Benedict burger) has lost its luster: the ground beef patty and the foie gras escalope have been halved (is it even an escalope or a carpaccio?) - a bit of air conditioning would have been welcome when it's 33 degrees outside - restrooms worthy of a nightclub, even though service has just started In itself, there's nothing to complain about regarding the quality of the service; it's very friendly. However, there has been a decline in the quality of the food. A bit disappointing, considering we used to come regularly because of the famous Benedict burger. I'm giving it 3/5 for all the times I haven't given 5/5, because today it's more like a 1-2/5.

14/04/2026: Go without hesitation, the fondue (royal for us) is excellent and made in the purest Savoyard tradition. The waiter (who is also the owner) and his partner (who cooks) are warm, smiling, and friendly people. From the "mountain" ambiance to the drinks and dessert, everything was perfect for us.

01/04/2026: The food was amazing. I highly recommend it. As a foreigner, I tried mountain cuisine for the first time. The fondue was so good, and don't hesitate to order the tiramisu for dessert. The staff is very friendly. You can tell they love their work.
