13/06/2026: We stopped in Chateaubriant more or less by chance during our week-long trip through Brittany. We found this restaurant thanks to Google. I have to thank them because they welcomed us even though they were closing in 10 minutes. The food was prepared very quickly and the taste was perfect. Peaceful environment, pleasant service and the best galettes I have ever had the opportunity to eat. Duck breast, baked apples and cider sauce that smelled deliciously of duck juice. Cider to drink was a matter of course. Thank you very much and I recommend this restaurant.

03/06/2026: The food at limmat is fresh, zingy and delicious. We came twice during our stay and the menu changes every day. We tried so many flavour combinations using gorgeous fresh vegetables, herbs and fish. The chefs are truly talented and the front of house staff are lovely.

01/06/2026: Very disappointed. Sunday brunch was truly disappointing: very little choice, no vegetarian option at all (in 2026, really?), an empty buffet when we arrived, frozen pastries at €65 per person (in a country known for its amazing bread), waitresses who didn't explain the brunch menu and who were dismissive. To top off this disastrous experience, the value for money is appalling; I'm giving it 3 stars for the view, and even then the blinds were down when we arrived.

31/05/2026: We came for dinner as a group of three to celebrate a birthday, and we were greeted in a rude and unacceptable manner. The head waiter, a certain Renaud who refused to give me his name, behaved rudely towards us. Frankly, if we hadn't given him our credit card details, we would have left! Afterwards, a charming young woman took care of our table, and dinner went very well. The food is excellent, and the decor is incredible under a magnificent glass roof. However, the music should really be played at a lower volume.

27/05/2026: For my first experience at Quintessia, I'm delighted. I had a wonderful time for a bachelorette party. The brunch was delicious (homemade recipe, fresh ingredients). And the magical setting (a haven of nature) contributes to total relaxation and stress relief (spa). I highly recommend it and I'm even thinking of going with my family.

26/05/2026: Beautiful hotel, excellent amenities, and very pleasant staff. We spent one night with access to the spa, a true haven of well-being. A special mention goes to the Louange bar, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a drink, as well as for its board game selection. We loved it!

12/12/2025: The entree of the day was a fish soup which was the best we had ever had! And the fish of the day (redfish) was so delicious and paired with a great mashed sweet potato. Also amazing mussels that you can have prepared a couple of different ways - so amazing! Loved everything about the food and this restaurant!

07/12/2025: A wonderful experience at Seulement Sea in the 6th arrondissement. We started with a beetroot carpaccio, fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced—a simple yet very successful starter. For our main course, the scallops were excellent: perfectly cooked, very fresh, and with delicate, expertly prepared flavors. The service is pleasant and attentive, and the friendly atmosphere makes you want to return. A truly great place for seafood lovers, which I recommend without hesitation.

25/05/2026: Passing through with our children, we needed to feed them and called to ask if they could prepare some cold cuts and fries for three kids. The bill came to 60 euros! We absolutely did not mistake you for a "fast food" establishment, as you mistakenly suggested when I expressed my surprise at the price (an inappropriate reaction on your part). The issue isn't the quality or price of your food, but a clear communication problem. I told you, "My mistake was not asking the price," but no, actually... my mistake was calling you. Given my "special" request—a little charcuterie and some fries for three children before you closed the kitchen (because I also thought you'd have less work with the food cold)—I meant the equivalent of one charcuterie platter with just a little more ham than anything else (as requested), but not three platters of charcuterie at €15 each. I could have expressed myself better, certainly, but in customer service, it's the salesperson's responsibility to ask questions to ensure they've understood. If you put a €100 bottle of wine on the table instead of a €20 one because YOU misunderstood the vintage the person wanted, then that's your fault, not the customer's, and they shouldn't have to pay for your mistake. It's the same principle here. I'm offering you a free lesson: You ask questions (for what age children? To assess the portions), you advise, and you rephrase (I suggest 3 plates of charcuterie at 15 euros each and 3 plates of fries at 5 euros each. To summarize, we'll have 3 fries and 3 plates of charcuterie for 60 euros. I would have said, "Whoa, no, the charcuterie is too much!" You could have responded... By the way, are you familiar with our menu? We offer a children's menu for 10 euros...). You're a small village restaurant, and it's not like you were in the middle of a rush that Sunday evening to justify these shortcomings. My request: takeaway plates suitable for 3 children... result: 3 adult portions... at adult prices. And in short, you're the professional, you misunderstood the need and didn't state the price before hanging up when taking the order on the phone, which doesn't correspond to the "usual codes" of takeaway sales that you claim to offer. A word to the wise. 60 euros is expensive for three children's meals we ordered... we felt you took advantage of us because we were tourists... and given your reaction to my surprise at the price, it was our fault... the worst part of all this... is perhaps the feeling of being ripped off, of guilt because we thought it was our fault... but no... it wasn't the customer's fault. At least an apology would have been appropriate... P.S.: Half of it had to be thrown away because the adult portions were too small... what a waste!

24/05/2026: Magnificent... you couldn't ask for more for a great meal. The meat is top quality, the potato pancakes are excellent, the fries are homemade... and the owners are super friendly. This is what you call a good, unpretentious French inn where you can eat well for a reasonable price. Go without hesitation...
