Restaurant dans un emplacement agréable terrasse extérieure
24/08/2024: Une cuisine bien faite, légère, de saison, beaucoup de produits locaux, dans le cadre d’un menu 3 entrées 3 plats (dont 1 veg), 3 desserts à 30€. apéritif et vin (dont beaucoup de bio et de local) à des tarifs également très raisonnables. Service super pro et souriant.
1 seul point d’amélioration (mais qui ne nous empêche pas de mettre ce 5*) , les glaces qui sont des Carte d’Or lambda (du coup on a pris des « vrais » desserts, un excellent tiramisu abricot romarin) alors qu’il y a de super glaces locales (glaces Merlin qu’on a trouvé à l’épicerie de Beaufort par ex).
Excellente continuation à l’Ami Rabel!
Pas d’hésitation, on y retourne.

We really enjoyed ourselves this Sunday lunchtime, refined and original dishes from starter to dessert, a good wine recommended by the charming manager.
A special note for the two-chocolate millefeuille with its ice cream accompanied by a parcel of parsley! Very original and delicious 😋
It’s really an address that I recommend to everyone and where we will return with pleasure.

06/09/2024: Nous avons dîné au Nautique pour terminer notre séjour à Hourtin, quel plaisir ! Repas en terrasse avec vue sur le lac. Au menu, des plats de très grande qualité et des propositions qui sortent de l'ordinaire. Je vous conseille le croustillant chèvre chaud...et froid, vous aurez la surprise de déguster une délicieuse glace au fromage de chèvre. Les lieux dont très cosy, déco agréable, éclairage sympa, en résumé, un resto à essayer ! Au niveau tarifs, c'est un peu high level mais justifié de mon point de vue.

20/10/2024: Nous avons déjeuné avec des amis en revenant à ce restaurant qui nous avait offert des moments culinaires exceptionnels déjà dans le passé.
Cette dernière rencontre avec les plats d’une qualité exceptionnelle, hors du commun, avec le personnel aimable, attentif et efficace, l’atmosphère accueillante du restaurant nous font déjà rever à une prochaine visite.

09/11/2024: Une très belle découverte lors d’un repas entre amis. Nous avons vraiment adoré pour plusieurs raisons.
Des plats d’une justesse culinaire impeccable, de l’œuf molllet croustillant aux champignons, en passant par le paleron confit servi avec un accompagnement de petits légumes présentés sous une fine tartelette, le tout agrémenté de petite touche d’émulsion de châtaignes.
Le désert était top avec un baba revisité à l’armagnac à l’orange de la célèbre maison Denoix.
Ce fut un plaisir de discuter avec la patronne: beaucoup d’écoute , de gentillesse et de professionnalisme.
Bref un vrai coup de cœur, à refaire sans hésitation

Quel plaisir de découvrir un établissement de cette qualité. Nous ne manqueront pas de partager et de revenir.

28/09/2024: Specializing in coves, with a huge choice, but you can also have a salad, or meat or fish. Dessert side: very good waffles, ice cream sundaes, and traditional desserts served in restaurants. The room is not very big so remember to book at the end of the week. In summer, outside terrace.

03/09/2024: I hesitated before writing this review because usually when I don't like a restaurant I don't do anything: maybe it wasn't the right day, catering is difficult, it's a local business that it is appropriate not to criticize. I make an exception for Les Bruyères because I was treated in a way that was unwelcome and totally unprofessional. I enter this restaurant one afternoon without a reservation and the owner tells me that there will be no place before 1 p.m. Well, no luck. I decide to take a look at the room and the buffet to find out if I'm waiting until 1 p.m. and/or if I find a friend at a table who would like to accommodate me and then the owner comes upon me and asks me to come out of her room immediately. establishment: “I’m the boss and I’m telling you to get out!!!”. Faced with such a lack of courtesy and sense of commercial relations, I immediately head towards the door where the owner barely insults me for not leaving more quickly. Anyway, I just got thrown out.
Well, otherwise the room is a common canteen room, furnished as a cafeteria, very noisy and uninteresting. The all-you-can-eat buffet doesn't seem any more interesting and we can guess its origin without any problem. In short, to run away, which is what I did.
