01/12/2025: Five of us, we ordered the most expensive menu, 40 euros. Having extra charges for the frogs' legs is already outrageous, okay, fine, we were expecting something amazing. What a disappointment! The frogs' legs were covered in parsley, the butter was burnt, and many were missing legs? Apparently, it was the same at the table behind us, but they didn't dare say anything. The frogs' legs in cream sauce had a strange taste. In short, three plates were impossible to eat. On the other hand, the chicken in cream sauce with morels, which was an extra charge, was excellent. Just an off day? Or not? The three frogs' legs were indeed removed from the bill, but the rest were charged à la carte. So, the bill still came to 197 euros. I'm not one to post fake reviews, sorry.

27/01/2025: Lunch with a friend one afternoon, decent meal one dish for 25eur and one dish for 18eur = 43eur total of the final bill 64eur, that means two shandies and two coffees for 21eur, expensive very expensive much too expensive, we won't come back, we were stuck in the sand, not stuck in the sand....

10/11/2025: Very disappointed, a disaster. The meat was dry, very little meat, and there was a lot of salad. It tasted like reheated food. What a shame.

03/11/2025: We had a very good experience at this restaurant where the service was impeccable and the food excellent and beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Perhaps just one small point for improvement: the ambiance could benefit from softer lighting and some oriental music to create a truly immersive experience.

07/01/2026: A very warm welcome from the Alsatian owner and a very friendly waiter. The meal was excellent and the food was lovely. I'm sure we'll see each other again this summer. (Alsatians who visited the Christmas market in this beautiful setting)

30/12/2025: Passing through Eguisheim during the holidays, I glanced at the menu outside. A plate of frog legs for €28? Wow! I'm going to have to improve my English; soon I'll be able to eat in restaurants more than the Americans. Don't forget that locals, myself included (and I was a customer back then), also come to your village during the holidays, but the others won't be here during the off-season. I can afford to treat myself, but in that case, and at that price, I'd choose a Michelin-starred restaurant.

26/11/2025: 20 euros for a starter, main course, two desserts, and coffee. It's impossible to do better. Home-style cooking, so it's full of flavor and authenticity. Superb.

16/01/2026: I went to the bar to get a seat inside, and I immediately saw this ungrateful guy. Anyway, I sat down, ordered, and waited a while. I felt sorry for the waitress, and then, to my surprise, this same guy brought me the burger. Not seeing the fries, I asked him about them, and he said, "I don't have two hands." I was two feet away from throwing the plate at him. I ate quickly and left. Avoid this awful, boorish jerk at all costs.

25/12/2025: Excellent lunch! The food was delicious and expertly prepared by the chef, who took the time to visit each table. The service was very pleasant, and the entire team was incredibly attentive. We particularly appreciated the children's menu, which featured adult dishes in smaller portions (sea bass with vegetables and rice in our case), a welcome change from the usual steak and fries. It was excellent for all ages, in a very calm and pleasant atmosphere. Thank you!

23/10/2025: A first visit for me, great atmosphere. Delicious aperitif and appetizer, we would have liked more😅 The service was impeccable... the waiter even offered me a small plate to taste the foie gras from my darling's starter 😋 I only had a dish, a little expensive but frankly worth the price. And it's generous! Monsieur had a stuffed cabbage and I tried the Angus beef that I had never eaten and I enjoyed it, both with the grilled meat, ultra tender and melting, and with the very tasty accompanying vegetables. Crème brûlée with Collobrière chestnut cream and a little lychee rum served to finish, yum!

19/11/2025: I stopped by because I saw veal paupiettes with tagliatelle on the daily menu. So I stopped to eat. Quick service, pleasant dining room, and a local atmosphere. The veal paupiettes were very good, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. A generous portion and reasonably priced. A very good meal. Worth remembering.
