01/10/2024: I was on my bike, looking for a bar in Samoëns to drink a little coke, and I came across this beautiful place and open by chance, which is rare in the off-season!!
What a lovely surprise, a terrible terrace with a crazy view, over the mountains, the interior, is terribly beautiful, and very cocooning, warm with a very beautiful decor 😍
I quickly hit it off with Stéphane, the very kind manager of the establishment!!
A pleasure to drink my little coke on the terrace, accompanied by very pleasant music, the little extra to have a good time.
It's sure, it's a great place to come back with friends to have a good time over a drink (or two🤪) and a good board (or two🤪🤣)

11/12/2024: We came for lunch last night and had a great time. The welcome was very pleasant, the waiter was smiling, attentive and even funny. I confirm, however, it was cold in the downstairs room. The door leading to the upper floor also brings cold if it remains open. The nice waiter paid attention to this when we asked him about it, thank you very much. But eating while cold is very unpleasant, we should try to remedy this...

28/11/2024: It is undoubtedly one of the best value for money and I would even add “sympathy” of Grasse.
This young couple is incredible, the waitresses always friendly and the food quality, dish of the day always delicious depending on availability!
I also recommend their catering service which I have used several times!!

The dishes were beautifully presented and excellent.
Prices are correct.
The only downside was the proximity of a table of regulars who, with the help of the beer, were talking more and more loudly.

27/01/2025: En pleine saison lors d’une après midi ensoleillée nous nous sommes rendus dans à l’Asphodele sans réservation et avons été accueillis chaleureusement par le personnel. Les glaces étaient vraiment bonnes et le restaurant est très bien situé au bord de l’île aux moines.
20/10/2024: Resto fabuleux de Burgers et Tartares généreux de bœuf, totalement originaux par leur composition et absolument délicieux .
Les saveurs savamment mélangées sont multiples, avec des frites excellentes.
Rien n’est « étouffant »; bien au contraire!!!!
C’est une réussite absolue.
Et la présentation -extrêmement raffinée- des plats est totalement inédite pour des burgers ou tartares.
Nous étions 6; et avons tous été carrément bluffés.
Entre 22 et 30 € /personne environ.
Le prix est -totalement -justifié.
On est en effet dans la gastronomie du burger et du tartare.
C’est un énorme coup de cœur !❤️

20/08/2024: Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to our expectations. After being seated, we had to wait over 45 minutes before anyone came to take our order, even for drinks. The wait between courses was also very long, so much so that we didn't really have an appetite once the dishes were finally served. A more responsive service would have greatly improved our experience.
20/08/2024: Very nice little restaurant inside and out with a big organizational problem for the service. In fact, having a server dedicated to one task + lack of efficiency = waiting 45 minutes for an order + 30 minutes between each dish.
That said, the cuisine is not bad without being delicious.
