12/06/2025: A very warm welcome, the staff is friendly and attentive. The decor is warm and welcoming. A wide selection of beers, wine, whiskey, rum, and rum liqueurs are available. Bottles of beer are deposited (discount on your next purchase if you return them), and cases are also deposited. Keg and beer machine rentals are available for your evenings at home. Two areas: one for shopping and one for tasting. There is also a terrace with tables and chairs. A dartboard is available next to the restrooms. This establishment also offers a variety of evening events throughout the year (including afternoons). Closing at 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM depending on the day of the week. Small bells remind you of your last drink and to stop drinking. I recommend it.

07/10/2025: We got ‘plat du jour’ and it was excellent. The ‘owner’ showed some desert options as we didn’t understand the French explanation. The outside of the building wasn’t impressive, however the inside was really authentic.

08/11/2025: We had lunch today in a superb setting, with a magnificent sea view and a calm, elegant atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly from beginning to end. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented—fresh, expertly prepared ingredients with refined flavor combinations. Special mention goes to the perfectly cooked fish and the decadent dessert! A lovely place to discover for a romantic meal or a get-together with friends. We celebrated our 6-month wedding anniversary in style and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will gladly return! 🍷✨

15/01/2025: It was very good but being a sweet tooth I was surprised by the fact that the dessert was less good than the main course, I will go back and this is just a personal opinion!

10/01/2025: Very average cuisine but decent service. The beautiful view is the only asset of this restaurant. I don't recommend.

24/11/2025: A place like few others left in France! Arriving on our motorcycles, a bit dirty after a ride through the forest, we were warmly welcomed by the owner and invited to discover the local cuisine prepared by his wife. If you're passing through the region, it's well worth a visit, provided you have a sense of humor 😉 It will remain a very fond memory and a wonderful encounter for us.

22/08/2025: Four of us had a delicious three course set menu, with four choices for each course, for €32 each plus drinks. We sat outside and were served by the friendly host and his wife who prepared our meals. A very enjoyable time was had by all. I would certainly recommend.

14/12/2025: We stopped by chance. Charming restaurant, enjoyable food. However, be warned: asking about fries is clearly considered sacrilege. The owner, self-proclaimed guardian of good taste, will put you in your place, complete with a grimace of disgust.

19/10/2025: Excellent restaurant: refined cuisine, high-quality ingredients. Philippe is also an excellent sauce maker. Florence takes great care of the guests and manages the dining room with great efficiency. Quality wines. The tartes flambées on Friday night are to die for! A great restaurant

01/01/2026: Isabelle and Charly are incredibly friendly and attentive. They are exceptionally kind. We entrusted them with our wedding meal three years ago, and they delighted us, taking great care to accommodate the allergies of the elderly guests. Since then, we've celebrated our wedding anniversaries and Valentine's Days together every year because they always provide such wonderful food. Hats off to Charly, a truly top-notch chef, and to Isabelle for her kindness and generosity.

23/09/2024: Pleasant staff, impeccable room, decor, size, cleanliness. The restaurant was closed (weekly closing) but it offers a meal tray which is in fact an excellent complete meal served at the table 👍

20/09/2024: Service too long...and also waiting for the aperitif...it would be nice to make an effort to be served for the aperitif while waiting for the rest ✋

24/07/2025: The chef demonstrates every time that cooking can be an art, because he's an artist. His dishes are inventive and as beautifully presented as they are delicious. I'm always amazed! It's annoying; he's so talented. The dining room service is efficient, discreet, and attentive, even very attentive. We return regularly for the pleasure of eating and to have a wonderful time.

01/09/2025: Passing through Paris, I received a great welcome and enjoyed the "les frangins" tartare and the tiramisu was excellent! I highly recommend it 😊

30/06/2025: On the terrace, with friends we tasted the specialty of the "Frangins" the steak tartare.. the hardest part was making a choice among all the proposals but we all left delighted. Welcome and service at the top, I recommend.

21/10/2025: The meat (veal blanquette) was a little undercooked and the cream puff was, to my taste, a little too flavored with rum.

02/10/2025: Very nice establishment where you are welcomed with a beautiful smile. The dishes are homemade, with local products, are delicious at an affordable price. The service is a little fast for people in a hurry 😉. Nice wine list and an excellent Châtaigne kir.

27/10/2025: Very fast service, rather pleasant server, but the food is a bit lacking: pre-cooked pizza dough, fairly average Caesar salad (very little lettuce, which isn't romaine lettuce, moreover, sauce covered in balsamic vinegar...), the black olives on the pizzas and in the salad are blackened green olives (soaked in brine is cheaper), industrial tarte tatin with a piece of plastic left on top, individual bread rolls that seem to be industrial. In short, relatively affordable dishes but without any soul.

06/10/2025: In the off-season, there weren't many people, but the service was fast and the food was decent. One small drawback, however, was that we were inconvenienced by a waiter who was smoking inside the restaurant—really not great!
