16/07/2026: Excellent service! Attentive waiters! The shellfish and fish of the day were a real treat! Beautiful presentation! The desserts were fantastic, especially the chocolate fondant and the pear/speculoos/caramel cheesecake. I highly recommend it; very good value for money.

31/05/2026: The hotel is very good, especially considering we're in a very small town. The water museum is a bonus. The restaurant has a limited menu, but the food is delicious. The service is exceptional. I'm grateful to the two young women who made an effort to speak Spanish and made our dinner very enjoyable. They alone deserve the highest rating.

22/07/2026: The little Belgians this Wednesday. Everything is perfect. From the aperitifs to the desserts, everything is beautifully presented. The owner greets you with a "Bonjour ça va" worthy of a pirate, and his staff serve you with a kind word every time. Highly recommended for every holiday in Wimereux.

29/04/2026: We had an absolutely delightful lunch at La Ferme aux Grives, part of the beautiful Les Prés d’Eugénie, Michel Guérard estate, a member of Relais & Châteaux. • From the moment we walked through the gate, we knew we were in for something special. The garden setting is simply magical, surrounded by roses in full bloom, with birdsong in the background and even the occasional lizard passing through. It is the kind of place that immediately invites you to slow down and take it all in. • The experience was seamless from start to finish. Service was warm, attentive and perfectly paced, striking that balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality. We began with cocktails before enjoying a beautifully executed three course meal. The dishes were elegant yet grounded in the region, with a clear respect for seasonal ingredients and classic French technique. Every plate was as visually refined as it was delicious. • What makes this place particularly special is how effortlessly it delivers a true Relais & Châteaux experience. There is no pretension, just a deep sense of place, quality and care in every detail. • For those who may not know, the estate is closely tied to Michel Guérard,and the entire property reflects his philosophy of refined yet approachable gastronomy. • This was one of those rare lunches where everything comes together perfectly, from the setting and atmosphere to the food and service. A truly memorable experience, and absolutely worth it.

21/04/2026: We really appreciated this restaurant—it was such a lovely experience. The starters were outstanding; we had the best asparagus to start. As a vegetarian, I was especially impressed that they prepared an amazing risotto just for me. The side dishes were delicious and felt like true comfort food, and the dessert was simply fantastic. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the setting is incredibly charming—rustic, cozy, and full of character. It has a unique atmosphere that makes you disconnect and feel transported to another time. Highly recommended!

13/04/2026: A charming, northern French atmosphere in the heart of Mons-en-Pévèle. The chicken casserole with Maroilles cheese was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful. However, the woman who worked at the reception/cook was less than welcoming. No greeting, and her approach to taking payment was reminiscent of a "give me your money and get out" attitude.

09/05/2026: I had the pleasure of having lunch at the recently reopened restaurant (under new management) and I had a wonderful time. The three-course lunch menu plus amuse-bouche for 35 euros was excellent, very good value for money. The welcome was perfect and the setting absolutely magnificent. Kudos to the new management, the new chef who comes from Mayotte, and the very friendly waiter. I missed the Camandoule of 10-20 years ago. It's back and I'll be returning soon, this time for dinner.

08/05/2026: We had dinner at this charming restaurant. Its outdoor terrace evokes the atmosphere of Tuscany. A wonderful discovery that we will gladly return to.

27/07/2026: I confess, I went there reluctantly. My husband loves going to Gill's. For me, the menu is boring. It's been the same since they opened! Beef tartare, salmon gravlax, duck, and calf's head... Let's go for the calf's head, which is rarely found in restaurants. I've had it before, and it was good. This time, I was served an unpresentable veal ratafia (see photo) that was barely fresh. The potato was reheated, and the veal stock sauce was tasteless. I would have preferred carefully cut pieces and a vinaigrette with gherkins for acidity. Clearly, the chef was also asleep at the wheel! However, the excellent glass of Burgundy made up for it. The desserts are good. My husband comes back time and again for the crème caramel, a guaranteed success, the best in all of western France! Special mention goes to the wait staff, who were very friendly and professional. They acknowledged the mistake and removed a calf's head from the bill. It was a nice touch, and such a gesture is rare enough to be worth noting.

26/07/2026: The tables were very close together, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing as we ended up chatting with our neighbors. The service was pleasant. The speculoos tiramisu was very good (definitely a menu item), and it was good value for money.

26/05/2026: We made a reservation through the Fork for Whit Monday. My husband double-checked with me in the morning, are you sure it’s open. I had traded e-mails with the manager/owner to arrange for a fish main course so I told him I was sure. We arrived a little ahead of our 12:30pm reservation and pulled on the discrete door. It didn’t open. Oh no! I thought. Then the maître d’ open the door promptly and welcomed us in and asked our name. Our table and printed menu was waiting for us. On such a crazy hot day where a demonstration re-routed our bus route we were welcomed into an air-conditioned oasis. The service was excellent — sincere, attentive, anticipatory and charming. The food was delicious. The amuse bouche came very quickly as did the appetizer. What I loved about many of the dishes was the diversity of textures (shaved konbu & egg confit), the freshness of the produce (the crispness of the green asparagus), and the sauces that had umami as well as brightness and herbs. I used my spoon many times. (Oh and the bread) We chose a white wine from Burgundy that was recommended on the plaque placed on our table as available by the glass or bottle. The white burgundy was so good and went well with our courses. We enjoyed our lunch very much.

23/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family-run hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner is a true chef who knows how to delight the palate and satisfy even the heartiest appetites. As a gourmet and gourmand, I was in heaven. The owner's wife welcomes and serves you. The breakfast is very comprehensive. The hotel is quiet and very well insulated. Ideally located for immersing yourself in the world of Ferdinand Cheval, whose tomb on one side and ideal palace on the other are just a few minutes' walk away in the town of Hauterives itself. The parking lot is gated and the entrance is secured with a keypad. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in a beautiful region nestled between the countryside and the mountains.

31/07/2026: This is exactly the kind of place you go to a restaurant for. We had a wonderful time there as a family. The setting is undeniably magnificent, and the service and welcome were perfect. The Southwestern cuisine was excellent (wood pigeon, duck leg, etc.). All this at an excellent price. We had been coming to Seignosse for several years without ever having tried this restaurant. That oversight has now been rectified.
