08/09/2026: It had been decades since I'd been to Paris, but I rediscovered the spirit of Brasserie Parisienne, with a super friendly and welcoming staff. I enjoyed these relaxing moments, and the value for money is good. A place I'll definitely return to.

18/09/2026: Strange place. The owner's hygiene is more than questionable, as he does everything himself (cooking, serving, cashier), dressed in street clothes. The dining room is very dark and the music is tiresome. The dishes are strangely enormous, impossible to eat completely, so the owner offers to let you take the leftovers home. But what good are leftovers if you don't take them home? He offers you a liqueur and a lollipop. To soften you up? In 50 years of eating out, I've never seen such enormous quantities! Bizarre...

20/08/2026: At the foot of the mountains, A tranquil setting... Generous portions and fresh ingredients! I enjoyed the duck breast, cooked rare with crispy skin 😍 and the cheese platter to share. Delicious.

20/09/2026: Thank you for the wonderful time we spent at your place. We discovered it by chance during a stroll, and we had lunch one Sunday at the Bistrot de la Farandouille. It was sublime. The food was excellent, both the main courses and the desserts, and everything was made with love. Both of us were so kind, with smiles and genuine warmth. Thank you again.

11/09/2026: Excellent place for lunch. Shrimp starter 🍤, main course, dessert for €16.90 at lunchtime on weekdays, and the food and service were both high quality. I highly recommend it. Closed in the evenings and on Mondays and Tuesdays.

31/08/2026: Excellent stay, very good value for money. The setting is superb, the room comfortable (good bedding), the breakfast plentiful and varied, the half-board excellent (different dishes are offered every day, all very good and generous; the price of half-board is very reasonable considering the quantity and quality). And the staff are very pleasant. A fond memory of the Dordogne.

22/08/2026: Beautiful setting, but poor soundproofing The location is very pleasant, nestled in lush greenery, ideal for unwinding. The rooms are a bit dated, but perfectly clean. The major drawback is the noise level: the soundproofing is poor, doors slam constantly, and the air conditioning is very noisy. Absolutely avoid the rooms at the top of the stairs, unless you want to endure constant noise between 7 and 9 a.m. As for meals, breakfast is very basic (industrial pastries, average cold cuts). However, the hotel restaurant more than makes up for this by offering high-quality gourmet dishes. A place with a superb setting and excellent cuisine, but marred by the noise.

07/09/2026: Honestly, I believe it is an outstanding quality for the price restaurant. I paid 25 euros for the duck burguer and a dessert. Let's say it was a lot of food. Even though they forgot to tell me that the burguer was not on lafourchette s discount it didn't matter because it was already fairly priced at 19 euros. I recommend the restaurant. Veronique, the chef, is kind and serving some fairly priced food.

05/09/2026: The welcome was warm, and the portions were good, including the duck confit burger and frog legs. However, I wasn't given the promised 30% discount. The restaurant owner refused to budge because we had ordered à la carte dishes, but they were called "the must-haves." To get the 30% discount, we had to order dishes from the "summer menu" only... It's a matter of semantics... I told her that in the restaurant business, there are two possibilities: set menus where there are no discounts, and à la carte dishes which should be eligible. I deplore and regret this anti-business practice of trapping customers like this. She wasn't a fairy godmother, and as they say, what's "fairy godmothered" is no longer needed! Beware of this scam. In the end, there was no gesture of goodwill, and her only response was that she would end the partnership with TheFork. It's regrettable, especially since she's the one taking the money from the customers...

20/09/2026: I have mixed feelings about our dinner. The service was efficient and the staff were smiling. I ordered the daily special, a chicken Milanese-style fillet that was way overcooked—it was almost like a nugget! The cleanliness of the pass area was a bit questionable, especially when the table was right next to it. But the atmosphere in the dining room was really great.

19/09/2026: A truly fantastic concept! We had a wonderful time, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The 80s-90s theme is brilliant: it takes us right back to our childhood with a real dose of nostalgia, but mostly a positive kind of nostalgia 😊 The decor is really fun, original, and very well thought out. You can tell a lot of work went into the concept, and that's what makes the experience so enjoyable. One small drawback, however, concerns the cleanliness of the place. Whether it's the chairs, the benches, or even the restrooms, some elements could use a good refresh and, above all, a thorough cleaning. It's a shame, because the restrooms often reflect the overall hygiene of an establishment. Nevertheless, this is something that seems easily improved, and once fixed, it would really allow us to fully enjoy this great concept! We had a great time and will gladly return.

18/09/2026: Excellent meal, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Each dish was delicious and generous. For dessert, we had a chestnut cake that was simply superb.

17/09/2026: Wonderful meal at Chez Heidi The pork perfect as was my wife's salad followed by 2 lovely crepes. service excellent with a beautiful view of the sunset over the dunes with the sound of the surf as well

11/10/2026: 30-minute wait for a hot chocolate: COLD and not good. The servers were a bit clueless but friendly. I wouldn't go back!
