25/02/2026: For under €20, we enjoyed a daily special and dessert, both homemade, generous, and delicious. The servers were welcoming, attentive, and friendly. The beachfront terrace is particularly pleasant. We were delighted to discover this place and highly recommend it. Unfortunately, we ate everything before we even thought to take a picture.

27/10/2025: Having come for a drink around 2 p.m. to warm up in view of the terrible weather, we were captivated by this timeless place with its "estaminet" atmosphere and tasted the dishes on offer. It's tasty, traditional, and French (eggs meurette, snails, stewed brisket, homemade mashed potatoes) and it's everything we love! Authentic cuisine, very friendly welcome, and a warm atmosphere! Save room for the desserts, which are very generous, and keep your eyes open for the vintage decor. Special mention to the friendly, smiling, and accommodating server! We'll be back!

13/03/2026: I tried this place for a business dinner. The food was good overall, especially the main course (sea bream). The decor was okay, except for the low-hanging light fixture which bothered my eyes all evening. Unfortunately, they refused to take my order because "it's too complicated." The two minutes they would have spent entering an invoice into a system that everyone knows how to use (including them, since they've done it before) would have saved me €130 out of pocket, with no guarantee of a refund. This lack of goodwill left a bad taste in my mouth. What a shame.

08/03/2026: A truly wonderful dinner, everything was perfect: refined, colorful, and delicious dishes. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy in the evening, but also very friendly and welcoming thanks to the staff who made us feel right at home. Amazing value for money. What more can I say except that we will be back.

22/01/2026: I first encountered Le Comptoir Senlisien when I arrived in Senlis 20 years ago. The atmosphere, the quality of the service, and the drinks were everything I expect from a tea room. A cozy place, with small lamps casting a soft glow, friendly service, and exquisite, piping hot teas accompanied by delicate pastries. It was with great disappointment that I recently returned. The lighting has become dim, the tea barely lukewarm, and served without any indication of brewing time. The cake I ordered was dry, even stale. I personally found the welcome mediocre, with the unpleasant feeling that friendliness was mistaken for over-familiarity. Some may appreciate it, but I don't think I'll be going back.

19/03/2026: Honestly, an incredible experience! I come to this bar often, but this time… special mention to Morgan. Honestly, he's the best waiter I've ever seen in my life, and I mean it. Super welcoming, always smiling, quick, efficient… but above all, incredibly friendly. He single-handedly creates an amazing atmosphere, remembers the customers, gives perfect advice, and is always on top of things, even when it's busy. You can tell he really loves his job, and that makes all the difference. Thanks to him, we had an even better evening than expected. If you go to this bar, ask for Morgan; you'll understand immediately. 👌

21/02/2026: The new menu is simply divine!!! The incredibly tender lamb ribs and their sauce, that parsley-infused oil... I absolutely loved the duck croquette, even more beautiful than in the menu photo. Gratinéed, crispy, flavorful, and decadent. A killer dish. A message to the Chef and the kitchen staff: I love you 😤
