The place and the service are really great! I loved the room too.
The swimming pool, sauna, hammam etc. are great. The gym too.
The place is perfect for getting back into shape. I highly recommend this place full of serenity and gentleness.

27/08/2024: My husband, 7 year old daughter & I visited here one evening on holiday.
The service was very friendly & attentive.
The adults had the 3 course meal.
I had a goats cheese salad to start & my husband had a red mullet salad.
For main, I had a fillet of st Pierre which came on a bed of wild rice & a citrus sauce.
My husband had octopus in a tomatoey sauce on a bed of rice also.
Our daughter had a burger but as they don’t do a children’s menu it was an adult size portion!
The two deserts we had were a profiteroles which were filled with ice cream & cream & and crème brûlée, both of which were delicious!
We had two 1/2 carafes of wine & a soft drink, and our total came to about €100 (£96.43) without a tip.
Only marked down as there was no children’s menu or smaller portion option & was on the slightly pricier side but would definitely recommend & we would visit there again if we were staying longer.

Perfect place to have a good time on the terrace over a drink, fair price for the location.
27/08/2024: Déçue, attente très longue juste pour boire 1 apero. Serveurs qui soupirent.
Le pire les toilettes :très forte odeur d urine et l état de la cuvette une horreur (c est la première fois que je vois quelque chose d aussi sale). A éviter.

Succulent dish with venison steak.
Original tropezienne bun roll dessert.
The only downside is the cleanliness of the toilets at the start of service.
Fair prices. Nice decor.
31/12/2024: Kitchen to review. Cold. Stopped the overcooked pasta and sauce in soup. Too bad because good staff in the room.

12/09/2024: If you expect kindness and availability from the younger of the two waitresses, move on. Apart from an unfriendly "I only have two legs", "what do you want" when she decided without even a hello or a smile, nothing pleasant. I will never return to this establishment

28/09/2024: We organized a reunion with friends and it was a great experience at La Paillote de Damien. Darts games, aperitif, high quality meals, very quiet atmosphere to finish with a game of pétanque. We took great care to allow us to have a great time. Thanks to the entire La Paillote by Damien team.
27/09/2024: While passing through Aix we found this restaurant ideally located with many parking spaces available. We were very well received and had a pleasant time. The service was very pleasant and fast, the meat (rib steak) a delight and the pizzas a real treat! Don't hesitate, the setting is very nice.

17/01/2025: Delicious menu. Good atmosphere, unfortunately dishonest management.
I bought a €100 voucher at the restaurant for my (elderly) father-in-law and when he presented it when paying he was told that he should have presented it upon arrival. This happened exactly again the next time when he had forgotten this illegal instruction again.
Finally he decided not to return to this restaurant and gave the coupon to his cleaning lady! I won't go back there either, it goes without saying.

07/09/2024: Un estaminet comme on les aime. L’accueil est sympathique, la cuisine généreuse et le cadre agréable. En fait, il n’y a rien de bien compliqué à la carte mais la cuisine est soignée et très bonne. Le service est également à l’image de l’établissement. Le bon rapport qualité/prix donne au final l’envie d’y revenir.

01/11/2024: En livraison : livraison parfaite, assez rapide et ponctuelle, la pizza est belle et présentable (en visu), parfaitement cuite, par contre la garniture est trop salée et pas assez parfumée, aucune saveur à part le sel, trop dominant, pas d'origan...etc..
29/09/2024: En livraison parfaite, pizza non "présentable", impossible à servir car imbibée de liquide, pâte molle, claire, farineuse, étouffante, excessivement salée, très peu garnie, 2 champignons, 3 olives, 1/4 de tomate, 15 gr de fromage, 1/4 de poivron vert, très fade, cela ressemble à une congélation chauffée et non cuite, j'ai jeté...
C'est dommage, la qualité c'est dégradée peu à peu, il y a un an, les pizzas étaient encore délicieuses, cuites et croustillantes, moelleuses à l'intérieur, bien garnies, "présentables et fiables"...
