18/07/2026: One of the best restaurants in the area. The bistronomic cuisine is excellent and truly original; the chef is incredible! And that's true from appetizer to dessert. Superb wine list with a wide selection. Top-notch service and welcome. If you haven't been yet, this is the place to go, whatever the season. Oh yes, I almost forgot, the menu is updated regularly, and you wonder where the chef gets all his inspiration. Finally, unbeatable value for money.

27/06/2026: The decor is nice, with bottles and monkeys. The menu is enticing, with Italian touches. The food is delicious, and we generously finished each plate. A minor drawback is the presentation and the plates themselves; we eat with our eyes too 😜

02/02/2026: A warm welcome, a greige ambiance with meticulous attention to tableware, an experience unlike any other. You must arrive promptly at 8:00 PM, and from then on, you will discover original and delicious dishes. The show can begin; your taste buds and memory will be tested, as it is very rare for a restaurant of this caliber to surprise you with such a variety of flavors and textures. You'll only want to return with a new menu. The menu is unique, changing monthly, and consists of seven courses. Enjoy it with glasses of wine. Champagne is served upon arrival, and a cocktail is offered with one of the desserts. Truly exceptional. You must experience this chef and his wife, who share their concept with such warmth and passion.

A truly original and exceptional evening: incredible dishes prepared by Chef Anthony, a festive atmosphere thanks to Isabelle, surprises and little games throughout the evening. 07/07/2026: Delicious!! The lamb shoulder was absolutely divine, and the desserts never disappoint—everything looks tempting!!! The wine we had with it was perfect. A huge favorite :) I highly recommend it.

07/08/2026: There are restaurants where you eat very well. Michelin-starred restaurants where the technique is impeccable and the ingredients exceptional. But here, we're in another league. I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively and discover restaurants all over the world. Gastronomy is a true passion of mine. And precisely because of this, with time, it becomes increasingly difficult to be truly surprised. I discovered this restaurant about ten years ago, and since then, I've returned regularly. Each visit brings the same conclusion: the chef leaves absolutely nothing to chance. Each dish tells a story. The flavors are conceived with incredible precision, the textures complement each other perfectly, the presentation is elegant without ever being excessive, and above all, there's always that "wow" factor. Not the kind that relies on artifice, but the kind that stems from genuine creativity and a constant pursuit of excellence. You can tell that here, it's not simply about cooking. It's about creating, constantly questioning oneself, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Behind every dish, you can feel the passion, the hard work, and the constant desire to surprise. After ten years, while so many restaurants eventually become predictable, this one continues to amaze me. And that's probably the greatest compliment you can pay a chef. For me, it's not just one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of discovering. It's an experience I look forward to with the same anticipation every time I visit.

25/07/2026: From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, I cannot say enough about how AMAZING everything was! Marie and her husband were so kind, nurturing, and wholesome owners. They really made you feel like you were family! This was quite literally the best meal we had in Nice. The duck was so savory and fresh and the fois gras is unlike any other we’ve ever tried. A true hidden gem in Nice and I highly recommend you try! Thank you to Marie and her husband!

12/07/2026: Resto La Route Du Miam was the best dining experience I had during my time in France (Paris included). I wanted to dine solo, and when I spoke a week prior to Marie, the wife of the couple who owns it, she couldn’t give me an availability, but she said she wouldn’t forget me. And she didn’t! The reached out to me with availability and got me a table outside. I let them choose a wine and duck meal for me, and it was phenomenal. It felt like a home cooked meal, which made this experience unique compared to any other place you could find. Very lovely and fun couple. Definitely try to get into this place if you’re in the area!

26/07/2026: An unexpected gem that became the highlight of our Loire Valley stay We found La Madeleine de Proust completely by chance. Walking through Chaumont-sur-Loire near closing time, we decided to take a chance and ask if they still had a table. The owner welcomed us with genuine warmth and without any fuss, and from that very first evening we knew we had stumbled upon something special. What followed was, without exaggeration, the best food experience we had in France. The cooking is refined yet honest — traditional French flavors elevated with real care, creativity, and top-quality ingredients. Every dish felt thoughtful and balanced. We ended up returning for dinner every single evening of our stay in the Loire Valley and systematically worked our way through almost the entire menu. Not once were we disappointed. Each visit only reinforced how consistently excellent everything is. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service attentive without being formal, and the overall feeling is that of a place run with genuine passion. It is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to linger, order one more thing, and already plan your next visit before you’ve even left. If you appreciate delicious, carefully prepared French food in a charming setting, do yourself a favor and book a table (or just be lucky enough to walk in like we did). La Madeleine de Proust is a true discovery and one we will happily recommend to anyone heading to the Loire Valley.
