11/09/2026: An ordinary evening turned amazing at Papa O’Rum last night. It started with a wonderful cocktail of the month prepared by Loucy, then Elvis cooked us the best sausage rougail we've ever had, all made with incredibly fresh ingredients. We finished with some music together on guitar and djembe; it was fantastic!! Thank you for the wonderful welcome!!

02/09/2026: Fantastic authentic Basque restaurant in the heart of Saint Jean. Food is epic thanks to the owner-operator chef, team is enthusiast and fun, probably one of best braised cooked fish you can order in the region. Get a table now, this could easily be a Michelin-starred restaurant.

29/08/2026: Charming restaurant, we had a wonderful meal. The turbot cooked over charcoal and the vegetables were excellent, and the smoked sardines and fried anchovies served as starters were very well prepared. Attentive but unpretentious service.

19/08/2026: My first time at this restaurant, and from appetizer to dessert, it was a real treat. The seasoning was perfect, the cooking was spot on (the cod was divine). 07/08/2026: Honestly, it's a complete mess. One minute I'm told I can't book because of the wind, the next day they call me back saying it's because they're closing early. Get your facts straight before you start telling customers nonsense. In the end, it's impossible to book anything; nobody can give a proper answer. The organization is a complete disaster, and there's absolutely no professionalism. You just wasted my time. I'll never set foot in your establishment again, and I strongly advise everyone against going there.

03/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! This lovely place serves delicious food. The owner welcomed us like a friend, very warm and friendly! We were offered a small homemade hummus as an aperitif, a twist on the classic pistachio and fresh mint. The dishes and desserts were delicious, all homemade with quality local ingredients. They also gave us excellent wine recommendations, with a very nice wine list. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

06/07/2026: We came last night for dinner as a family of four. The setting was fantastic, the service and food were top-notch, go without hesitation! The hamburgers and fries on the kids' menu were great, fresh fries, and the hamburger was butcher-quality. The veal shoulder with mixed vegetables was so tender, the meat literally melted in your mouth, and it wasn't too fatty for a shoulder cut...etc....great value for money. The two servers were absolutely fantastic, it was perfect, thank you again!
