02/04/2026: I have dined at this restaurant twice and each visit has been exceptional. The cuisine is consistently outstanding — every dish is clearly prepared with care and excellent technique. Start with the shrimp appetizer: the prawns are impressively large, savory, and full of flavor. The handmade wide pasta captures the rich aroma of the shrimp oil beautifully. For the main course, the beef is tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked while preserving the beef’s natural, delicate flavor — I found myself wishing there were more even after finishing the entire steak. The baked onion served alongside is sweet and succulent, a delightful complement to the main. The sparkling wine from Barcelona was a lovely accompaniment. I appreciated the chef personally sampling the bottle before service — a thoughtful and professional touch that speaks to their commitment to quality. The restaurant’s atmosphere is welcoming and well balanced: cozy and relaxed with good music and an open kitchen that adds to the experience. Although the space is intimate, it is well appointed and efficient. Service is friendly, attentive, and considerate; on one visit we arrived late without a reservation and were still warmly welcomed despite the hour. Overall, this is a small but complete gem — excellent food, professional service, and a great ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

18/03/2026: Seeing the "it's very, very good" sign by the front door, I knew I was in for a treat. And frankly, I wasn't disappointed. Thanks to my host, who went above and beyond. Everything was delicious, from the charcuterie and dry-aged meats to the cheeses and desserts, and of course, the drinks. It's the first time I've truly enjoyed cooked ham. And the pâtés en croûte? Magnificent!

24/04/2026: Delicious, beautiful, but still so hungry when I left... for the price it's disappointing to end up at McDonald's after leaving the restaurant... apart from that everything was perfect!

13/03/2026: Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said? The welcome was friendly, the service very professional, they take the time to explain what's on your plate, always with a smile. The meal: the appetizers were very good and varied, plus a curry emulsion with a mushroom sauce. The starter was out of the ordinary: marbled black pork with duck foie gras, pear and beetroot ketchup sauce—simply excellent. The main course, braised beef chuck roast, butternut squash and new potatoes, all flavored with black curry, was fantastic. A very good plate of local cheeses followed. Dessert: Wow! An explosion of flavors with candied pineapple infused with vanilla and Earl Grey tea, and mango sorbet. In short: we regret not having discovered this restaurant sooner, as we would have gone several times, if only to try all the dishes, but we'll definitely be back twice! P.S.: They accept Wonderbox vouchers, which is a bonus.

10/04/2026: The Pomme d'Api gourmet restaurant is located in the heart of Saint-Pol-de-Léon, just steps from the cathedral. We opted for the tasting menu, much to our delight, and everything was perfect from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed the refined cuisine of Jérémie Le Calvez and his team. We savored each exquisite dish, a true feast for the eyes and the palate. The dishes were beautifully presented, each with a delicate and nuanced flavor. The service was friendly and pleasant, with excellent recommendations from the sommelier. We had a wonderful time in a 17th-century setting where the old and the new are seamlessly integrated. A well-deserved Michelin star and an address not to be missed.
