09/08/2026: An excellent restaurant that I recommend without hesitation! The setting is simply superb, pleasant, and ideally located near the sea, with the added bonus of easy parking. The service is also impeccable: the servers are lovely, helpful, friendly, and always smiling. A special mention goes to the waiter and the chef, who are remarkably kind and always attentive to the customers. They are also incredibly warm and welcoming. As for the food, it was simply sumptuous! Beautifully prepared ingredients, flavorful dishes, and a real attention to detail. And then… a special mention for the desserts, which were truly worthy of a Michelin-starred chef! A real treat and a magnificent way to end the meal. 🍰✨ A wonderful discovery, both for the cuisine and for the service and the setting. I highly recommend it! 👏

26/06/2026: I went yesterday, Thursday, and was very, very disappointed. The food wasn't up to the price; the shrimp had a strange taste, and the atmosphere and welcome were icy. They barely said hello and were treated like dogs. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I REALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

29/07/2026: We couldn't agree on the food. Good twice and slightly less so twice. Service by presumably a new waitress was top-notch and friendly. Not everything works out, but you can feel they are doing their best. Just a nice place to be.

We had lunch there at the end of June with our Gordon Setter and appreciated the freshness and the quality of the homemade ingredients (gazpacho, tataki, haddock fillet, rump steak, nougat glacé…). 10/07/2026: We discovered this little restaurant tonight as a family of four during our vacation. The welcome was friendly, the food was excellent, and the portions were very generous! The waitress was always attentive and caring. We'll definitely be back! We'll be passing the card on to our family who live nearby 😉 Thank you for a wonderful meal; we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the aperitif to the dessert!

10/07/2026: A delightful little discovery this evening! A pleasant setting, friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food. We ordered three burgers: two OBG burgers and one pulled duck burger. A real treat! The buns are soft and offer a nice change from the usual. The ingredients inside are truly excellent. The homemade coleslaw served alongside is delicious and adds a lovely freshness to the meal. In short, a place to discover if you enjoy good, generous, and hearty food. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

26/07/2026: Frankly, if you're looking for "Burgundian" cuisine, look elsewhere! Indeed, burrata tomatoes, salmon gravlax, and leeks vinaigrette aren't all that common in Burgundy. Furthermore, two of the three typical Burgundian starters listed on the menu were missing, at least that evening: the famous parsley ham and the sausage in brioche. It was already a bad start for the starters! So we ordered the only truly typical starter: eggs meurette, which were decent, except for the canned mushrooms in the very thick sauce, which you had to mop up with semi-dry bread. The "famous beef bourguignon with homemade mashed potatoes" (as it was written) was anything but famous: canned mushrooms, a sticky and tasteless sauce (no aroma of red wine juices, no flavor whatsoever), two pieces of meat, one of which was a slice of gelatin that I left. I prefer not to describe the so-called "homemade" mashed potatoes... A hefty bill for two very mediocre starters and two main courses (80 euros). The only positive point: the charming and polite waiter. We left, very dissatisfied, without ordering dessert, which would certainly have been of the same ilk, especially since Poire Belle-Hélène is not pear poached in wine, and I didn't see anything with blackcurrant either! Unbelievable! Be warned, the menu I received bore no resemblance to the one that had made my mouth water online, except for two or three easily defrosted items. Given the numerous very positive reviews, I deduce that this restaurant was better before, has declined, or that the chef, while on vacation, left the reins to amateurs because it was a late summer evening in July? In any case, the result was very unpleasant, leaving us feeling like we were being ripped off.

11/07/2026: A wonderful discovery at V’Four, a romantic dinner for two with my partner! The presentation of the dishes was particularly refined: the sea bass fillet with its crispy skin, candied cherry tomatoes, and grilled fennel was a true delight, both visually and in terms of taste. The beef carpaccio, enhanced with parmesan shavings, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, and olives, was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The beef tartare, accompanied by carrot purée and caramelized red onions, offered a lovely sweet and savory balance. For dessert, we were captivated by the chocolate petits fours with whipped cream and caramel shards, as well as the roasted peaches with a crumble topping, which were meltingly tender and fragrant. The artisanal bread and attentive service completed a wonderful experience. An ideal spot for a romantic dinner, offering creative cuisine and high-quality ingredients. We will gladly return to V’Four!

16/02/2026: A great stopover between the south and north of Brittany. A perfect halfway break. The road between Vannes and Saint-Pol-de-Léon, passing through Pontivy, is magnificent. Hotel-restaurant with excellent value for money. Very pleasant welcome, simple yet delicious menu, prepared with quality ingredients. Breakfast was equally excellent. Highly recommended.

05/08/2026: The wait between courses was very long (we even had time to watch all the Star Wars movies). Otherwise, the food was good, but the price was excessive for the quality.

05/08/2026: Dinner enjoyed on the terrace. A very pleasant and convivial atmosphere, seated facing the restaurant's magnificent facade. A warm welcome. The service was of exceptional quality, reflected in the delicious dishes. Original dishes, a succulent goat cheese mousse, and a light, subtly sweet dessert provided a perfect ending to the meal. I highly recommend it and would gladly return.
