20/09/2026: We had a very pleasant two-day stay at this campsite thanks to the warm welcome and helpful advice from the owners for hiking. The pitches are well-defined and spacious, and the heated sanitary facilities are very clean. We also thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the campsite restaurant (Aubrac beef burger with Roquefort sauce).

16/09/2026: Hello, I had the opportunity to try the brunch at this restaurant after being invited by a friend, and it was fantastic. The value for money is excellent, and the brunch is well worth the price. All the products offered are organic and homemade, which is a real plus. As for drinks, I particularly enjoyed the kefir—a great discovery. However, the main drawback is the space. The dining room is really very cramped, and during busy times, getting served can quickly become difficult. It's a bit like being on the Paris metro at rush hour, with very little room to move around. The same is true on the terrace, where groups can be seated at small individual tables, which isn't always very comfortable. For a date night, it's still pleasant. However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a family brunch.

09/09/2026: Had a lunch here between chateau visits. Beautiful, fine but not uptight dining. Be sure to book a table ahead of time as they get busy. We had the three course menu with an additional blue lobster where the chef fired up the stove right in front of us. Good wine list but not cheap. Worth couple hours to relax. Recommended.

30/06/2026: What a great find! Passing through at the end of my motorcycle road trip, I truly enjoyed everything here. The location, quite secluded in Bois Barbu, is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. I love the layout of both the grounds and the inn itself. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The comfort is definitely appreciated. The half-board meals are home-cooked, prepared with quality ingredients. The dishes are appetizing and delicious. A garage is available for bicycles and motorcycles, which is a nice touch. A place to definitely remember in the area!

30/06/2026: What a pleasure it was to stay at the Auberge des Montauds! We received a warm, welcoming, and friendly reception that immediately made us feel at home. Located above Villard-de-Lans, the inn offers a peaceful setting in the heart of nature. If you're looking for tranquility, greenery, and a real breath of fresh air, you'll be delighted. It's also a little paradise for motorcyclists. Our room, while modest in size, was very comfortable and perfectly suited to our stay. We also greatly appreciated the shaded terrace, ideal for enjoying the excellent half-board meals, which were generous and carefully prepared. Breakfast was equally delicious, varied, and plentiful—the perfect way to start the day. A big thank you to the entire team for their kindness and hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will gladly return to continue exploring this magnificent region. Brigitte & Serge

30/09/2026: The restaurant was recommended to us by our local hosts and diner at Le P’tit Resto was indeed an excellent experience in French food. Seated outside, with a beautiful view of the cathedral, we had a very nice 3-course diner, very well prepared and presented. The dark chocolate desert was fingerlicking good.

30/09/2026: This was our 2. visit to Bayeux, but our 1. chance to dine at Le P’tit Resto, it had always been fully booked before. Now we understand why! The service was outstanding. Our server spoke excellent English and stayed wonderfully calm even when the restaurant became very busy. She and her colleague managed everything with such warmth and skill. I’ve worked in hospitality myself, and I know how much that takes. Those two are worth their weight in gold. The food was just as impressive. The chefs deserve a star of their own! Every cent was worth it, and we would happily come back.

26/08/2026: Best pizza for miles, and indeed stand up to comparison internationally. We came back at least five times this summer and will be going again. Great setting and service for a very reasonable price.

12/09/2026: At Le Chantilly crêperie, the food is absolutely divine, with exceptional value for money. I personally had the duck breast with an extraordinary citrus sauce. The staff is charming. We were able to take a boat trip to explore the Marais Poitevin; it's a unique, relaxing, and beautiful natural experience. We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend you go and have this experience there.

10/09/2026: Can't understand this place, went yesterday arrived at 12:30, looking forward to a galet as advertised on the website, was told no galet, mmm ok what about berger and frits , no berger, no frits, ok what have you got? Was shown a menu with 2 dishes that where available, both big meals and to be honest quite expensive, thanked the waitress and left,
