14/07/2024: Welcomed with respect and politeness. Excellent meal, from start to finish. Well stocked dish, menu far from excessive for what was offered. Cheese and dessert platter. A traditional restaurant of very good quality as there are few. I recommend !

The ice cream sundaes are really super beautiful and tempting!!!
And it was very good
We will come back during another visit to Saint Jean de Mont for crepes and cocktails!

From the welcome to the quality of the products, you will not be disappointed by Le Trou Normand.
The products are fresh and “homemade” which is becoming a little rare for a set of services (starter to dessert).
In summary, Le Trou Normand is an excellent restaurant and you will not be disappointed for a lunch or dinner for two or with family.
Price rating: it costs around €20 for the dish.

Une carte simple avec un chef qui fait des merveilles. Une des meilleurs tables autour de compiegne.Compter environ 50 euros par personnes avec apéro et vin.

The waitress is perfect: gracious and efficient.
Finally a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious cuisine; well presented dishes and sufficient rations.
We highly recommend and we will be back!.

20/06/2025: The lunch menus are unbeatable in terms of value for money; for example, three courses plus coffee and a carafe of water cost €20 (weekday lunchtime). Everything was delicious. The fish was excellent, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The children's plate (nuggets with fries, all freshly made) was available for €11.

La carte est diversifié afin de plaire à tout le monde. Nos amis à quatre pattes sont les bienvenue. Cependant, ceci a un prix ou il vous en coûtera 70 € par personne pour entrée/plat/dessert /vin et café. Nous remercions l'équipe pour ce merveilleux moment gustatif et relationnel. Au plaisir de revenir lors d'une future excursion.

28/08/2024: I have known this restaurant for decades in the unforgettable days of "de la Marthe de Condat"...I knew by hearsay from friends the quality of the successors...I tested it yesterday with a biker friend passing through Condat in our enduro tour with meal of the day...there was enough for 4 and despite our keen appetites I couldn't finish the dish...to save room for the fabulous cheese platter and dessert so I ' imagine the pleasure of Sunday menus with unmissable and historic calf sweetbreads... hats off Boss and Boss!!!... Quality, Quantity, Friendliness, Smiles and professionalism... in a comfortable and bright setting of quality and taste ...

Accueil un peu froid mais qui se déride au fur et à mesure
Bref nous recommandons!
03/09/2024: Nous avons dormi dans un endroit limite insalubre, sans volet et pas vraiment propre.
Le repas était sans couleur locale, bonne quantité certes mais qualité décevante.
Accueil ok.

29/09/2024: Too bad not to have taken advantage of the outside terrace because of invasive wasps, it doesn't change anything in the quality of the cuisine, incredibly and pleasantly surprised it was delicious.
