09/07/2026: A superbly located spot in a very pleasant setting: under a wisteria and a grapevine, sheltered from noise and traffic. A true haven of peace. The welcome and service are impeccable, provided by friendly and attentive staff. The cuisine is refined, made with quality ingredients, and the dishes are presented with great care. However, there is one major drawback: vegetarian cuisine is truly the poor relation of the menu. On my last two visits, no vegetarian dishes were offered. Instead: a "chef's selection" consisting of side dishes for the meat dishes (mashed potatoes, grilled eggplant, etc.). At a similar price, nearly €30, this should be justified by a genuine culinary offering. This is all the more frustrating because the vegetarian starters are excellent: proof that the restaurant knows what it's doing. (Excellent porcini mushroom soup, delicious chestnut gnocchi...) To the team: I'd be more than happy to come back as soon as a real project to add more plant-based options to the main dishes is launched! Let me know again in August?

05/07/2026: Nothing has changed: a very warm welcome, excellent, original, and delicious cuisine, and the portions are perfectly proportioned. Very good value for money. We will gladly return.

10/07/2026: Fabulous spot. Unassuming brasserie from the outside but a real delight inside. Beautiful stone and leafy surrounding, classic French food, reasonably priced for the quality and good vibes. I want to give a special shout out to Julie-Rose (sorry if I’ve spelt it wrong!) for her attentive and personal service. I felt right at home right away and treated like an old friend. The service from Julie-Rose really made my experience extra special! Definitely coming again next time I’m in Bordeaux! (Solo traveller from Bristol, UK).

08/07/2026: We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious from start to finish. We enjoyed the tapas, the fish of the day, and the butcher’s cut of beef, and every dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. A special thank you to Julie Rose, who made our visit even more memorable. She made an amazing mocktail for me, that was incredibly refreshing, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious, and her service was outstanding. She was warm, friendly, and took the time to chat with us, making us feel very welcome throughout our meal.Julie also recommended a white wine that paired beautifully with our food—it was absolutely delicious and a great choice. Excellent food, fantastic wine, and outstanding hospitality. Thank you, Julie, for your wonderful service.
