15/12/2024: Very welcoming and friendly staff, fast and attentive service, refined and subtle cuisine without being pretentious. A great time!
Slight point of improvement: Small slices of bread cut would be better able to receive the excellent citrus butter.

Good service with a dedicated, efficient, and attentive waitress who knew perfectly how to adapt to her customers
Good food (mussels prepared differently for each person), generous portions
Good value for money

A great place to stay.
05/07/2025: If you are not ready to consume: aperitif + starter + main course + wine + dessert + coffee + digestif then do not go! The waiters / waitresses will make it clear that you are not consuming enough. This makes the atmosphere heavy... And it's a shame because the food is really excellent! And the setting very pleasant.

Five years ago, during COVID, we had to find an alternative for our weekend in the Ardennes. There was a lockdown, and we couldn't return to the Paris region. We found this magnificent place as a last resort, and frankly, we weren't disappointed.
A very warm welcome and a magnificent and pleasant setting, not to mention the service and the hospitality of the staff.
And the restaurant was very good.
Highly recommended.
We plan to come back for a weekend.
Have a good Sunday!

28/08/2024: Nous cherchions un endroit où manger en rentrant du pays basque. Quel bonheur de nous être arrêtés. Le lieu est très beau décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La cuisine est encore plus belle que le lieu. Le patron très agréable. Foie gras cassoulet etc carte des vins exceptionnelle. Bref un endroit à ne pas rater. +++++++

Our 2 savory crepes, a real delight, made with very good ingredients will leave us with pleasant memories of our stay in St Denis d'Oléron. Place not to be missed and we recommend it 100%.

28/09/2024: Came this evening without knowing the place, having just arrived in Combloux we recommended the Savoyard corner, we ordered a fondue for two and a small bottle of rosé (so as not to forget our south 😅) and from there we had an excellent evening , warm decor, waiters and waitresses at the top with good advice and a sympathy that we have less and less of these days, thank you for this moment
It may be nothing for some but a lot for us 🙏🏻
