We also had the sliced ​​beef, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and a Caesar salad with a wonderfully crisp lettuce. The portions were generous. 10/09/2026: Passing through, we stumbled upon this restaurant, among many others in the central square of Bazas... We received a very warm welcome from the owner, who took the time to explain in detail all the dishes on offer. The local Azadaise beef is excellent, and the hamburger, at least five centimeters thick—unheard of at 66 years old—was as delicious as it was beautiful to look at, served with homemade fries. The portions were very generous, which, as our host explained, is to be expected in rugby country. The desserts were nearly perfect, for a reasonable price, featuring local products and many homemade items. I highly recommend this detour, as the town is charming and the restaurant is outstanding. Congratulations and thank you, it was a truly wonderful experience! 😉

23/08/2026: Last night, we revisited this restaurant about 12 or 13 years ago (with one of our sons and my partner). It's still just as good, even after all these years. The food was superb, both beautiful and delicious. Our son, "Loulou," loved the children's menu, and it was incredibly reasonably priced—unheard of! (The adult menus were generous and excellent value for money). The owner was very kind, and kudos to the chef! If you're near Sigean, don't hesitate...

A slightly less favorite thing (personal opinion): Today's new feature was the cooking of the vegetables until they were crisp (no choice of how they were cooked). Otherwise, nothing to complain about, we'll be back.

Whether it was the andouillette sausage, the veal escalope, the pineapple cake, or the chocolate shortbread, everything was beautifully presented, original, and delicious. The service was both efficient and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed (a large table was set up in the enclosed veranda). The price (€116 for two, including aperitifs and a bottle of wine) was reasonable. Reservations are recommended.
