02/02/2026: Discovered by chance after the creative arts fair in Orléans, we were very pleased with the service, the quality of the food, and the generous portions, proving that it's possible. Special thanks to the chef for the excellent service and also to the chef who greeted us when we received the bill (a friendly touch). Thank you so much, and a very fond memory for my birthday.

12/12/2025: We were eager to discover this young chef's cuisine, and we weren't disappointed. His dishes blend French, African, and Japanese flavors with incredible creativity. Unfamiliar yet amazing spices, surprising yet perfectly balanced combinations. Each dish is a burst of flavor. The young chef lives up to his reputation: talented, inspired, and generous in his work. A true gem.

19/02/2026: The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. The prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was great, with lots of typical Kurdish decor.

The local meat was so tender and of excellent quality, served with whipped mustard that it melted in our mouths... despite my three missing implants 🤣, it was delicious 😋. The fish with mashed potatoes and vegetables was a real treat. The service was impeccable, naturally charming, incredibly subtle, and very responsive and attentive. The coffee was a real discovery, we were blown away! No bitterness whatsoever, it made us want to order dessert. And Alain, the dog, was a truly welcoming presence. He didn't even come to ask for my beef fillet 🤣. In short, a gem! Thank you 🙏 🥰 We will definitely be back 🤩

01/02/2026: A wonderful discovery at Colette, just steps from Montparnasse. The menu is absolutely incredible and full of delightful surprises. Special mention goes to the octopus leg, remarkably tender and perfectly cooked, as well as the deviled eggs, deceptively simple yet delicious and expertly executed. The service is impeccable: attentive, warm, without ever being intrusive. You immediately feel at ease thanks to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for dinner with friends or as a couple. An address I highly recommend and where I will be delighted to return.

14/02/2026: Excellent savory crêpes (numbers 9 and 11) and sweet crêpes (numbers 52 and up), made with quality, locally sourced ingredients selected by the owner. The whipped cream was excellent and served in generous portions. In short, this place seems to be a must for crêpe lovers. A little piece of Brittany in the mountains...

13/02/2026: Not only are the galettes and crêpes excellent, but the service is quick and the manager very friendly. Having visited quite a few crêperies, this one is by far the best! The place was full, with only one person serving and one in the kitchen: hats off to you both, and thank you again!

27/02/2026: Was shown this place 30yrs ago by a former Pan Am Pilot (we both worked for Delta by this point). Been back many times since. I no longer fly for living (mandatory retirement age 65). Two weeks ago I was dining at Clint Eastbound’s inspired restaurant in Carmel, CA. Last week I was on Main Street Park City, Utah. Just happened to see my former Airline had seats back and forth Cincinnati to Paris so I hopped a ride. So I had to fit a L’îlot Vache in. Pablo presides over the main dining room like a true master. I had my belt beloved escargot (always a dozen) with lots of sauce to dip my bread. Followed this with the chicken that came with browned potatoes and a Dijon dipping sauce. All very tasty and cooked to perfection. I ended with upside down apple tart. Came in a little late but was never rushed out. I felt welcomed from beginning to end. Of special not was how Pablo knew about my Cincinnati Bengals football team and our great quarterback, Joe Borrow. I think he’s more of a Broncos fan. Small world indeed.

15/02/2026: A very pleasant evening in this cozy little restaurant, with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for Valentine's Day. There was even a marriage proposal that night! The service was quick, the staff were friendly and articulate, which is a real plus for tourists. The food is homemade, and it shows in the taste. We highly recommend it!
