16/05/2026: We stopped by this lovely restaurant this morning for coffee. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming 🥰 We took away some excellent quality charcuterie and cheese by the slice! The service was also very friendly. We highly recommend it. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely come back to try your food.

18/05/2026: What a delightful surprise! Just wanted to grab some lunch while walking in Tours and stumbled upon this sweet little restaurant. Owner delightful and clearly into tasty creations. Atmosphere quirky and fun with a touch of sophistication. Food was really great!

19/02/2026: Hello, I knew the area but not this hotel. We had a group snowshoeing trip and received a very warm welcome. The meals were excellent, the rooms had beautiful views and were very clean. The food was high quality and plentiful, and to top it all off, the staff were pleasant and the owners always had a smile on their faces. We'll be back! Charly, Nature et Provence group

08/03/2026: What a delightful surprise this charming restaurant was, tucked away in a rather dreary cul-de-sac! The welcome is cheerful and warm, the decor a clever, slightly kitschy blend of seaside and mountain themes, and the lighting is perfectly balanced to allow you to admire what's arriving on your plate. The menu is extensive, inventive, and promising. This is confirmed when the dishes are served: everything is fresh, beautiful, flavorful, and served without delay. We enjoyed the langoustines and the confit lamb in a pastry crust, which we chose as starters (both generous portions), and then we savored the hake with sorrel and confit potatoes, as well as the fish quenelle with shellfish jus. The desserts are excellent, with a special mention for the caramelized apples and meringue, a reimagined version of the common floating island found elsewhere. Very reasonable prices again (76 euros for two, starter-main-dessert plus two half-pints of Leffe) when compared to what the other tourist trap restaurants in Villard dare to charge for over-prepared and soulless food. An original and welcoming place that makes you want to return very soon with friends! Thank you, Mr. Charentais. 😊

12/01/2026: What a delight this little restaurant is! Finally, something other than "mountain" fare. Everything was new to us: lamb confit with morels in a pastry crust, oysters and scallops with parsley sauce, suckling pig offal stew, Charentais-style chowder, mashed potatoes with cabbage... A true delight, and served with a smile, too! Good value for money. Highly recommended!

Very affordable prices, a daily special, a simple menu featuring locally sourced products, simple yet effective cuisine, and above all, a warm, friendly welcome, always with a smile. It has everything that makes a bistro charming: regulars, passersby, and a wonderfully convivial atmosphere where everyone mingles naturally. You feel right at home every time you visit. The setting is pleasant and full of charm, reflecting the team that works there. A reliable place that I recommend without hesitation. Note: Reservations are recommended.

20/05/2026: A solo lunch break in this charmingly bohemian-style café that clearly serves fresh ingredients. A beautifully composed salad, bursting with flavor, followed by a delicious apple-rhubarb crumble that had been nicely baked in the oven! Lunch came to €23 including lemonade, a fair price considering the quality. Thank you!

07/06/2026: It's a shame the welcome and service lack warmth and a smile, because the food is absolutely excellent. The paella is incredible, served in generous portions and not just with rice like in some other places. The owners are looking to sell the establishment. Enjoy the Basque specialties now!

19/03/2026: Located in the heart of the village of Cormery, this little restaurant is charming. Tastefully decorated, I really enjoyed it. As for the food, I found the menu simple but effective. The waitresses are discreet and efficient! It was my first time at this place, and at first glance, I found the price a bit high for tagliatelle. But the quality and quantity are definitely there! The dish was more than enough to satisfy me! The ingredients are fresh and of good quality! My friend was delighted with his beef tartare; it was fresh, flavorful, and he also appreciated the fact that he could add whatever he wanted to it (a small side plate of garnishes). Homemade fries, fresh salad—nothing to complain about… A restaurant worth discovering, but remember to book! Well done to the team!
