16/08/2024: Despite its name, Davoli is not an Italian deli (if you're really looking for one, there are several in the area, such as Il Giramondo). The risotti offered is not good, because it is overcooked. The arancini, basic, are indecently priced. On the other hand, there are some very good things, like duck parmentier. Puff pastry seems to me to be a specialty of the house. And the ''Sicilian'' salad is not bad at all.

15/09/2024: Great hostel! In an old house, the team at L’auberge de Lugos received us warmly. The cuisine is excellent, and the good value for money hotel allowed us to prolong the pleasure in a peaceful and timeless place.

02/09/2024: We were very well received (including by Sweety the cat). Note that the service is impeccable. Indeed some rooms are from another age. We came knowingly and were fully informed when booking. This remains very good value for money. I would like to point out that the bedding is excellent and that everything is rigorously maintained. To get some fresh air, or to eat There is a magnificent outdoor terrace under three century-old plane trees which alone could tell the story of the past of this place. The table is refined and prepared with local products, all in a warm and calm room. This place is calming and unique. I highly recommend.

06/09/2024: Nous avons reçu en cadeau un bon pour déjeuner à deux au restaurant l'alchemille. Nous n'avions aucune idée préconçue, juste un peu de curiosité car le restaurant présente un site internet clairement "en dehors des sentiers battus". Et bien bonne surprise ! Nous avons adoré le menu "layon" 10 senteurs que le chef a concocté. de l'amuse bouche au dessert final, nous nous sommes régalés. En conclusion, oubliez tout ce que vous connaissez des restaurants dits "traditionnels", gastronomiques ou pas, bistronomiques ou pas et laissez-vous embarquer pour un voyage au milieu des plantes et des fleurs savamment alliés à des légumes, poissons ou viandes et en fin de repas savourez l'eau de plantes, une tisane digestive délicieuse. Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir bientôt et un grand merci à toute l'équipe qui est au diapason de la philosophie de la maison.

15/09/2024: A wonderful atmosphere, this restaurant was buzzing on a Saturday night. Good food, fairly simple but very well executed. A good range of wines and other drinks, right across the spectrum. Would recommend for travellers.

13/09/2024: I liked the setting, the chocolate mousse served with a ladle wasn't really my thing, plus it didn't come through, a cat climbed onto the tables, the toilets weren't very clean. Anyway, worth seeing again

18/09/2024: It's not always easy to find a really good creperie, this is one without hesitation!

17/09/2024: We especially drove a long way early in the afternoon (>50km) to eat there. According to their website they were open all day. When we arrived there it turned out that they are only open from 7:00 PM. A big disappointment. In my opinion, you should clearly indicate the opening hours on the internet, especially in an area where few restaurants are open on that weekday. From the parking lot it is quite a scramble over stone steps that can be quite slippery when it rains. But once you get to the top, it is an idyllic place in the beautiful old village.

17/09/2024: De passage à Poitiers, nous avions choisi ce petit restaurant et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Les Mets proposés étaient très bons et originaux dans leurs préparations et leurs présentations. Nous avons bien dîné.

Cadre très sympa, personnel accueillant et des plats très bons pour un prix très correct. Bref ce restaurant sera dans ma liste à mon prochain voyage à Poitiers.

29/09/2024: We ate as a family with two children. The dishes were delicious. As a starter we both had the two salmon rillettes which were very tasty and plentiful. I had a mother's sauerkraut and my wife had a fillet of sea bass with mashed potatoes and small vegetables. Both dishes were excellent. Concerning the children's menus, they are the same as for adults in a smaller format but also very generous with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. The waitress is very friendly, smiling and attentive. We exchanged a few words with the Chef and did not fail to congratulate him on his cooking. We had a great time as a family, thank you.
