13/07/2026: The letter in English does not match the letter in French. It was difficult to order dinner. The entrecote was a simple pastado del punto steak. Poor air conditioning

18/05/2026: Avoid this restaurant! We wanted to eat there yesterday, May 17, 2026, but arrived at 8:30 PM, even though they're open until 9 PM. The waiter told us they weren't taking any more customers because the chef wanted to go home. He should just stay home! There were only six customers in the restaurant, while the butcher shop and Léon's were packed. This restaurant needs to close down quickly. Go somewhere else where you'll be welcomed with a smile.

12/04/2026: We went there to try the best kebab in France. Okay, we did get some wraps which were good, but the fries were a disaster, what a shame.

23/04/2026: The pizza was a bit pricey, and there was way too much mozzarella. What a shame.

18/04/2026: For a 5-star campsite, the restaurant is awful. I don't know what's changed since last year, but the reviews from the 2025 season and the photos are completely different from the 2026 season. The chef's burger: the meat is overcooked, and the burger is basically just a hamburger patty, probably defrosted but definitely not fresh from the butcher, two or three slices of chorizo, a measly spoonful of sauce... That's it. The portions are also insufficient. The Margherita pizza isn't a Margherita pizza. It feels like we're eating at Pizza Hut... Anyway... the service... how can I put it... The woman was completely lost, but oh well, she's starting out... The desserts: the chocolate fondant... isn't fondant at all... That's it... For comparison, the restaurant at the Yellow Village campsite in Bayeux, Normandy, is infinitely better. Oh yes, the cutlery, especially the glasses, was dirty.

I honestly find it delicious: the spring rolls are incredible. And what's more, it's not very expensive. I don't know what more people could want to go there. 30/06/2026: One menu item... one sandwich... one label... no pickles... and that's 100 loyalty points down the drain... allergic to pickles, I had to throw the sandwich away to be sure I wouldn't have any problems, having come into contact with the other ingredients... my meal, fries... really a shame for just one single label on a sandwich... be vigilant, luckily we always check just in case...

17/07/2026: A wonderful discovery made by chance during a trip to Fourvière. We stopped in without any particular expectations and had a fantastic time. The welcome was warm, friendly, and genuine, without any fuss. The service was attentive and pleasant, with a real kindness that makes all the difference. The food is simple, fresh, generous, and delicious. No need for an endless menu when the ingredients are prepared so well. An address I happily recommend. And if you're visiting Fourvière, you'll appreciate this break even more before continuing your ascent or descent. Thank you to the whole team for this lovely experience.

18/06/2026: Great place, but there is one detail that could be improved! I really liked the coffee, the flavor is rich and high quality — if I understood correctly, they have their own brand of coffee. A special thank you to the very sweet and lovely waitress for the wonderful service! During my visit, I managed to drink two cups of different coffee options and will definitely be back to try other things from the menu. The only downside that dampened the experience was the wooden spoons. Given that you are drinking your coffee on-site in nice glassware rather than ordering it to-go, it would be awesome to have classic metal cutlery. I really didn't like the taste of the whipped cream on a wooden spoon; it ruins the aftertaste. Other than that, it's a wonderful establishment. Highly recommend!

19/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! ♥️ My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The dishes were fresh and flavorful. There was a wide selection, including pizza, pasta, savory and sweet crepes, and of course, grilled meats and other grilled items. The fresh, homemade desserts were a delight.

27/02/2026: First impression: a warm and inviting room, and I was shown to my table instantly, which was great. However, after our drinks and food arrived at lightning speed, without even a polite greeting like "enjoy your meal," the waitress disappeared into the kitchen for a good 10 minutes… and what about my sauces for the floury fries? When she finally reappeared, I asked for my sauces, only to discover they were expired once they were on my plate. And then there was the small dessert: tomato seeds on the sugar crepe… I'm giving it 3 stars because the food was what you'd pay, and the atmosphere was pleasant. But don't expect friendly service, based on my experience. And when it came time to pay, not a word, just the price announced, the card reader placed on the terminal, and goodbye. Not a single request for feedback, nothing… It's a shame because it's all these little things that spoil the experience…

30/06/2026: Loved sitting here during the heat wave. Cool water was continually on our table. Great services by the staff. Very decent food, at good prices unlike nearby restaurants.

06/06/2026: My partner and I stopped by this afternoon for a sandwich, and we ended up staying for over an hour. Everything is delicious and the portions are generous. Le Pastel is a magical place: you'll see a musician teaching a beginner guitar, customers greeting each other with kisses or high-fives, and the girls behind the counter are so wonderful and friendly! A truly lovely café-restaurant in the heart of a very bourgeois neighborhood: the pastel color is the perfect finishing touch.
