05/09/2026: Very unfriendly owner with an unnecessarily sassy response when I simply asked whether she offered any vegan options. I was told that plant-based food is unhealthy and that she “couldn’t be a confectioner if it was vegan.” Honestly, being able to create delicious vegan pastries should be part of a confectioner’s skill set. You may choose not to offer vegan options, but claiming that vegan pastry somehow prevents someone from being a proper confectioner is simply ridiculous. Also, does she genuinely believe that traditional pastry is healthy? You are absolutely entitled to your opinion and don’t have to offer vegan options. But being uninformed about plant-based food while responding so condescendingly to a simple customer question is unnecessary and unprofessional. If you prefer to stay uninformed, that’s your choice — but please keep the attitude to yourself. ;-)

26/08/2026: Very strange policy. We bought sweets for €20, I ordered a coffee, my companion didn't want anything to drink since the shop was closing in 15 minutes anyway. I went inside to place the order. I placed it, and the older lady asked what my companion wanted to drink. I said she didn't. She said then we couldn't sit outside despite the sale, the fact that all the tables were free, and that we had to leave 10 minutes later. Terrible.

05/07/2026: Avoid at all costs. The owner is awful. I was attacked as soon as I arrived. Go somewhere else.

14/06/2026: Used the cash machine in their bar, just to play pool. Asked for a split to play pool, they agreed. Then got very angry at us and borderline squared up to for asking how the pool table worked, as it wasn’t the same as one we had used before. Was so dramatic, then complained about us not having bought a drink yet, 5 minutes into being there, on a Saturday night in June when it was completely empty. Will return to Morzine, but not to this bar.

03/09/2026: The other reviews confirm that our perception was correct! The owner is very unfriendly and came across as very annoyed! We had galettes with old, oily, and burnt potatoes! My mother had the penne Bolognese, and the penne wasn't fully cooked! And all this for the high price they charge! We definitely don't recommend this place! We were beyond disappointed!

10/08/2026: We went to Pizza Hut one summer evening, and the heat inside was unbearable. There was no air conditioning, and the employees were working in the sweltering heat! Working in those conditions should be illegal.

28/08/2026: The gnocchi with gorgonzola pesto weren't actually pesto, just a drizzle of herbs and no gorgonzola. The tartare was simply meat with vinegar and Tabasco sauce.

17/06/2026: The pizza was very disappointing, with little flavor and extremely hard edges. The pain au chocolat was okay. The most disappointing aspect was the service: after eating a full meal and staying for about two hours, I was made to pay attention when I asked for a glass of water, even though most of the tables were empty. I felt pressured to order an extra drink. I won't be back.

16/03/2026: Refused to provide tap water. The pizzas look appetising but its taste is completely different. Skip.

31/07/2026: The woman, seemingly the manager, is back, but so is the bad mood of some of the salespeople. Is there a connection between these two events? The good old days when the staff would say hello are clearly over. Fortunately, only one survivor remains from the old days (a gentleman in his fifties, often there in the mornings), still kind and cheerful.

12/07/2026: What a disgrace! The fridges have been over 10 degrees Celsius for almost a month now (the smell in the cheese section is awful). I've been there several times and the merchandise wasn't even on the shelves after 1 p.m. And don't even get me started on the broken cold chain and the potential dangers. The manager, who claims to be the Assistant Manager, is incredibly unpleasant. It's high time something was done; our local store is going downhill fast.

04/08/2026: The ultimate tourist trap! Paying 8 euros for a mental water only to end up with a diablo mente. The waiter had absolutely no tact. Avoid at all costs!!!

05/07/2026: Very poor service. Pizzas prepared in advance and then reheated. A decent alternative to processed food, but comforting after midnight.

03/08/2026: A classic café, friendly service and period decor. €2.40 for an Americano.

16/06/2026: It's such a shame, I paid for my pinball machine and they told me that if it closes, they'll stop... but without even a refund or an "excuse me" or a "hello"! Frankly, it's not very welcoming... I really advise you not to go there. 😊

11/01/2026: Comicly badly run. Staff giving out the wrong items so you need to read your receipt and request extra items like sauces that you have paid for. In my case I even had to give back items they were giving me I had not ordered. The food is soggy and cold. My burger had almost no sauce or ingredients. Despite this they over charge at this place. Go anywhere else!

28/12/2025: If there is 0 stars, i will put them. Do they have a manager to handle them !!!!!! They're very slow, the employees fought infront of us, no prestige, they are working without gloves, nothing.....hey manger wake up or you're involved in this too, Macdonald where are you !!!! Come and see what's going on !!!!!!!! Incroyable mais c'est vrai.
