14/11/2024: Después de un largo día de trabajo y gira, nos sorprendió mucho que no necesitamos hacer ninguna elección de menú, aparte de informar al encantador servidor de ninguna alergia alimentaria. ¡El mejor G&T con yuzu! Lo que siguió fueron cinco platos de pura delicia, comenzando con un divertido bouche de albóndigas fritas, con un curso de pescado y un curso de mejillas de ternera y terminando en la deliciosa tarta de whisky. El personal era muy amable. A un precio razonable. Haga una reserva. Volveremos cuando esté en París. Muy recomendable para ingredientes de alta calidad, vinos y ambiente en un espacio acogedor.

12/09/2024: We visited this glorious place on Wednesday September 11th 2024. We were greeted by the most charming and brilliantly bi-lingual staff member (perfect for me - Scottish and my partner - French). He was kind, articulate, professional and not only wonderful service but with a lovely warmth that made you feel like you were chatting with an old friend. Beautifully decorated to a very high level, incredibly clean including the bathrooms, fast service, crisp pint and brilliant food. It also has a really lovely large garden with ample seating, pub garden tables in addition, outdoor games, glamping pods on the grounds and accommodations upstairs. I know this will read like a fake review but genuinely, it’s not. We’d had an absolutely knackering day of traveling and randomly picked this place on Apple Maps when just searching for any seat with food and we were so grateful and surprised to have our spirits lifted and this place turned what could have been an “eat quick and get to bed” evening activity into a relaxing and rejuvenating date that warmed our very knackered little souls! Thank you for uplifting us and helping us on our merry way!

28/08/2024: Service at the bar a little disturbing, however, a substantial piece of beef cooked perfectly and tender. Nice terrace decor!

24/05/2024: Un très bon moment dans un joli décor avec une assiette délicieuse et très raffinée. Juste sûblime! Ne le ratez pas. Un joli resto que l 'on garde en mémoire.

30/07/2026: We had a wonderful stay at La Sauldraie in early July while our daughter was competing in the French National Equestrian Championships in Lamotte-Beuvron. Everything was perfect. We received a very warm welcome in this beautiful manor house with its large garden. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. And all this for a very reasonable price. Thank you, Julie, for your hospitality and helpfulness. We were delighted with our stay. Note: Parking is available within the grounds. If you are participating in equestrian competitions in Lamotte-Beuvron, La Sauldraie is ideally located. It's about a 15-minute drive, a straight shot along the main road.

26/05/2026: Excellent welcome. Comfortable and quiet accommodation in a park on the outskirts of Salbris. Located 2km from the A71 motorway.

18/08/2024: Welcome, kitchen, location everything is perfect, the waitresses and the boss take great care. Smiling, friendly as can be, price more than reasonable. With good quality and fast service. We recommend. We are 2 tourists on a stroll

18/08/2024: super bien reçu par Fabrice et Sandrine , entrecôte de l'aubrac cuite au feu de bois , accompagné de salades et frites maison suivi d'un superbe dessert ...bravo et a trés bientôt ..je recommande sans aucunes hésitation

10/08/2024: Très belle découverte, un pavé de thon au feu de bois cuit parfaitement, la viande pareil et de superbes desserts maison une pavlova aux framboises à tomber et des menus enfants top sans parler du service Très bien . A refaire.

20/07/2024: En vacances dans la région, nous avons trouvé par hasard ce merveilleux restaurant, où nous nous sommes régalés, personnel au top et la terrasse avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes,je recommande, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés

19/07/2024: une horreur, menue a 20eu pas compris si je prenez entrecôte il faillais rajouté 5 eu pas compris , ensuite je prend une pizza troué valeur deux ,deux rond la grosseur d'une pièce de deux euros je le signale a la serveuse qui me répond je les dit au patron il ma répondu la petite souris et passé je lui dit dite bien au patron le client et pas content et il peut venir me voir , terrasse sale ,parasole rouiller ,table déformer par la pluie A FUIRE

19/08/2024: De passage à Limoges sur la route des vacances, chez la Germaine fut une agréable découverte. Cuisine traditionnelle raffinée et copieuse. Doublée d'un accueille très sympathique. Je recommande chaleureusement.
