17/06/2024: For Father's Day our son introduced us to Nino's famous pizzas as well as his homemade tiramisus A DELIGHT!! Nino is very friendly and joking The waitress is friendly too

12/09/2024: We came for lunch. Very simple and warm welcome. Impeccable service. We were on the terrace. Extra. We chose the formulas of the day: soup, Bavarian tomatoes, 1/2 cockerel rösti salad, chocolate pear tiramisu with a Château Lamothe Mandrone 2020 then espressos. Excellent cuisine. Tasty, tasty. There is work. This excellent table is worth trying. No pretense here. Everything is authentic. We will come back. We highly recommend this beautiful establishment.

06/09/2024: Bar-brasserie which has managed to preserve all the authenticity of the place, the Café de la Poste and it's really nice to take a step back in time. The dishes are of excellent quality with a desire for homemade, fresh local produce. Special mention for cooking the duck breasts. Thank you for this good moment of sharing during an unplanned stop, keep it up.

10/09/2024: Plus rien à voir avec la fourmi qui était un des meilleurs restaurants de l'île...on est passé de la gastronomie à des crêpes puis des tapas. Le départ de Fred et Olivier a laissé un trou béant pour la restauration sur l'île....

13/08/2024: What a great time we had! Nicely located in the countryside, a real farm estate with nicely decorated and well equipped rooms! Extra comfy bed, staff are amazing, nice and so friendly! We decided to enjoy the attached restaurant, the meal were amazing all fresh and homemade! The menu ensures there's everything to satisfy anyone. Great cuisine, great drinks, local beers, relaxing atmosphere, a treat for a fair price. After a good night we enjoyed a magnificent breakfast served in the breakfast room, there's plenty to delight your taste buds! Feels so authentic and relaxing, our new favourite place for our next visit in the area!

31/07/2024: Nous avons souvent en France dans les "Arrières Pays" des lieux d'exception. Notre Pépite se situent au cœur des Vosges du Nord : le "Biergarten" en été et sa grande sœur le "Grès du marché" en hiver. Un endroit rêvé pour passer un moment romantique à 2, avec sa petite famille ou entre vrais amis.. accueillit chaleureusement par Estelle et Frédéric et leurs chers Enfants. On s'y sent magnifiquement bien. L'instant d'un repas est une ambiance de vacances mais aussi de déconnection totale où chaque détail est minutieusement pensé. 28/09/2024: Thought this place would be really special. Vacant upstairs and a note on the door to call a number to be let in to a downstairs bar. Very cool. Let in by a nice proprietor but downstairs the bartender (blonde lady) was not only rude but completely dismissive. She didn’t even acknowledge our presence when we addressed her with a polite “Bonjour!” After about ten minutes of being completely ignored, we took off. Incredibly bad service. The lady upstairs, on our way out, seemed to acknowledge that the other woman was rude but made no attempt to accommodate us otherwise. All in all a very odd experience.

16/09/2024: We enjoyed a bottle of red in the ambient basement cave with a delicious charcuterie board. Alex was very kind, conversational and most helpful in selecting a perfect wine for the occasion.

11/02/2026: A small, fine-dining restaurant next to the bar with beautiful plating and delicious food. The presentation is impressive, and every dish is full of flavor. Mr. Franck always provides outstanding hospitality, which makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended!
