24/04/2026: A very warm welcome at the restaurant. Refined cuisine with excellent dishes. Beautiful presentation. Everything was excellent. We will return to eat at the restaurant during our next stay in Mâcon.

26/11/2025: Dinner Sweetbreads with cream and pistachio—far too much pistachio. Terrine and mixed vegetable salad—too much raw garlic and the green olives were very bitter. Chicken ballotine with black trumpet mushrooms—one ballotine with the white stuffing had very few mushrooms, and the other with the black stuffing had far too many mushrooms and the risotto was crunchy. A meal not worthy of a Mercure hotel. On the other hand, a very warm welcome at reception; we will definitely stay here again, also for the location, the peace and quiet, and the view of the Saône.

20/06/2024: Our experience was disastrous. The service is catastrophic, the meal is not good. We ordered a rare sirloin steak: It initially arrived overcooked, we sent it back and it came back just right... the piece was fatty and not good. The fries are frozen and undercooked. The salmon on their XL avocado toast is not of good quality and is too salty. We have to beg for water and bread. The meal is expensive due to the lack of quality of the products. We do not recommend at all and we will not return.

19/05/2024: Very spacious room, provision of full breakfast (egg, rice bread etc.) of different variety, very warm welcome. Staff always attentive and very smiling

22/08/2024: We liked it a lot. The owners treated us very well and we liked the food very much and it was quite abundant in a quiet atmosphere.

27/07/2024: Superb quiet and cool place! Very pleasant welcome by the owner. Very good meal, Corsican veal raised on the property. Address to recommend!

31/05/2026: Another great stay at this charming small hotel. Sufficiently far from the motorway in a peaceful and beautiful setting. Very good restaurant.

05/03/2026: They didn't respond to our greeting, the staff was unpleasant. This hotel is absolutely one to avoid!

02/01/2026: The reception staff leaves much to be desired: they only speak French, don't notice that guests are wearing masks, and constantly give guests disgusted looks. The rooms are noisy and lack curtains. Breakfast is very basic, and many items were expired. Furthermore, they don't replenish shampoo and shower gel daily, and the beds aren't made properly.

26/05/2026: A huge thank you to Maxence for the service, his help choosing from the menu, his excellent advice, and his cheerful disposition. The meals were superb, no complaints whatsoever. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed them, and I'm so glad we discovered this place with such a beautiful setting. I highly recommend it.

28/04/2026: Beautiful old chateau with a small 9 hole golf course. Checkin was easy, staff friendly. We arrived after a long flight and then let us check in early. A little boulangerie down the road lunch and back to the hotel for dinner. Lovely sitting outside in the sunshine with a glass of wine.

30/08/2024: Produits locaux , belle présentation, plats copieux et savoureux, bon accueil, nous reviendrons, cadre extérieur au top sous les oliviers

30/08/2024: Très surpris du classement et des différents avis …. Une carte compliquée dans les formules( petit mangeur, gros mangeur) , des plats pas toujours maîtrisés techniquement ( cuisson , associations,…) et des produits travaillés qui ne méritent pas le prix pratiqué … 48 euros pour une formule complète est complètement disproportionnée par rapport à une salade cesar sans poulet , de la poitrine de porc et des fruits coupés en morceau sans aucune préparation … Bref , un rapport qualité prix ridicule …!! Je ne parle même pas de ma fille qui a payé la formule enfant à 28 euros …. Une grosse plaisanterie…!!! Et le vin carafe ou on mélange les bouteilles sans les goûter … bref très mécontent et pas du tout d’accord avec les avis … Pour autant , cadre plutôt sympa sous les oliviers et service en maîtrise …

23/09/2024: Une découverte pour notre couple de Bruxellois un W.E. à Meudon-la-forêt. Une table située dans une galerie encadrée d'HLM . Retenez l'adresse : 3,galerie de la Fontaine . Un petit nid géré par un chef créatif avec des plats du monde ( Jamaique, Haiti, Sénégal, Cameroun )sont à la carte à des prix planchers ! Le chef produit lui-même un rhum arrangé aux arômes subtils et une bière digne d'une mini brasserie belge ! On y trouve aussi du jus de bissap servi avec glaçons ...un délice ; de même que le cocktail maison. Vaste choix d'entrées , de plats , de desserts et aussi une suggestion du jour. Tout cela avec le sourire de la serveuse admirative de ce chef, seul aux commandes depuis 7an d'une cuisine subtile et variée. Possibilité d'acheter du rhum arrangé (diverses saveurs /35 euros la bouteille. Si la nourriture est excellente et peu onéreuse , les boissons font monter l'addition mais cela en vaut la peine. 18/09/2024: Visited as a group on a Monday; normally closed but we had checked the day before and as we had a dozen diners they could accommodate us. The owner/chef explained what items were and were not available, and we were well served. The food was excellent and is to be recommended.
