01/10/2025: We had a very pleasant time in a clean and quiet setting. Good local products. Good value for money.

07/09/2025: After a phone call assuring me it was open 7 days a week (this needs correcting on Google), my wife, my father, and I went to this restaurant last week. The gravel parking lot is opposite the restaurant, and you have to cross a busy road to get there. This is the only drawback, which is why I deducted a star from the overall rating (I didn't know where else to deduct it). It's worth noting, however, that the owner told us we could park behind the restaurant if we had mobility issues. We received a very warm welcome in a beautifully decorated dining room. The meal, made with homemade dishes, was excellent and refined without being stuffy. We were served at our own pace, which is very rare. We will gladly return and highly recommend this establishment. Thank you again for this excellent meal. 😋

09/09/2026: Brick pastry not to my liking (the egg and the dough were cooked too much). I'll try again.

04/04/2024: We couldn’t get into three of the restaurants further up the road, but La Flambee had lots of empty tables. Perhaps that tells you something. Anyway, we were persuaded by the lovely open wood fired pizza oven. What a mistake. I ordered the “tonnarelli a la sauce tomate guancialle”. It arrived incredibly quickly. The tonnarelli was very under-cooked and very hard to bite through. There was hardly any meat: it was gristly and chewy. A very poor meal. My wife had a pizza. Soggy bottom and the “toppings” placed in piles rather than spread over the pizza: she had to rearrange them. Against my better judgment I also ordered a tirimasu. It was not very nice at all; a nasty mousse poured over some stale biscuit. I have had much better tiramisu from my local supermarket. We had a good bottle of Valipolicello. I mentioned to the waitress that the tonnarelli was not cooked properly. No apology, no recompense. If you can get in anywhere else, I would recommend that you do NOT go to this restaurant.

07/05/2024: Les frites de mon mari arrivent avec nos entrées?? Les plats arrivent( froids) après une attente de 40 minutes, mais d'après la serveuse c'est normal puisque nous avons pris une entrée, et qu'il y a beaucoup de monde en terrasse( 4 tables de 2 personnes).. Les 2 serveurs d'un certain âge, sont d'une mauvaise foi inébranlable, ne formulent aucune excuse, et cherchent seulement à avoir raison, ils se donnent en spectacle devant tous les clients. Aucun professionnalisme.

26/04/2024: Nous avons très bien mangé dans ce restaurant à deux pas de notre logement air BNB. Accueil au top pour les familles. Très sympathique et familial. Nos deux garçons de 7 ans et 5 ans ont passé un bon moment également. Parfait pour un repas durant nos vacances. Chèques vacances acceptés ! (Ce qui se fait rare )

13/12/2024: Entrée chèvre chaud : croustillant brûlé et sec alors que le chèvre était pâteux et froid, je déconseille Viande est bonne Pas de chips avec les boissons, pas de carafe d'eau et il faut quémander le pain Hippopotamus ce n'est plus ce que c'était !

04/12/2024: Serveur désagréable et non professionnel (Stephane) je déconseille a tous ce restaurant Apres avoir passer la commande ont m'amene le dessert avant l'apéritif et le plat au bout de 20 minutes sans aucune excuse de la part du serveur et du responsable
