26/10/2025: A charming welcome in a wild setting where the food and thoughtful touches are plentiful. Thank you again for this wonderful weekend.

24/10/2025: Where to start? The setting, enchanting and very peaceful due to its location on a cul-de-sac. The restaurant, diverse in the morning and gourmet in the evening, is a feast for the senses. It's just what you need. Service starts at 7:30 p.m. to hear the menu proclaimed to the public, so listen carefully. The rooms, with their view of the Château de Portes, are simply fabulous, and at night, stars fill your eyes. Just like in the eyes of the owner Stéphane Abbé, as soon as you're in need of a good joke, in GG mode, he's always ready, especially if you're not. So if you're grumpy, uptight, pretentious, and without a sense of humor... please move on and avoid upsetting him. Special mention to Marie-Pierre, his partner with the tender smile. Ask for information about the German marmots that live in the area, if they're not busy...😉 Can't wait for our next trip. MLH

15/10/2024: When we arrive in front of the place called the Auberge Provençale, behind the doors, we are far from knowing what we will discover. Pleasant surprise, whether in the garden or in the dining rooms. Very beautiful decorations.

01/07/2024: Nous étions en demi-pension. Pas grand choix au petit-déjeuner. Le repas du soir ... pas terrible. Mais serveurs très gentils. Les chambres : murs en carton et nettoyage laisse à désirer (ils ne font uniquement que le lit). L'hôtel bien situé. Parking à disposition des clients.

23/06/2024: Nous avons été très bien mangé .Nous avons apprécié la truffade et la générosité du plat ainsi que les desserts ( particulièrement le soufflet verveine et le moelleux au chocolat).Au service les garçons en salle étaient très sympathique. Vue sur le lac et les montagnes environnantes très appréciable. Merci à l’équipe qui est aussi dog-friendly !!!

23/02/2024: La cuisine n'est pas mauvaise mais ne vaut le prix. J'ai choisi 3 plats, avant de trouver le bon, car il n'y avait plus à chaque fois, pareil pour la boisson. En dessert, il n'était pas possible d'avoir une aumônière car plus de crêpes. Il ne faut pas 10 ans pour faire une pâte à crêpe.

29/08/2024: Misogynistic and unpleasant staff, I reserve a room for one night at a certain rate via booking, I want to extend for one night (room available) I am charged 10 euros more!!!! I put 3 empty drinks in the trash can in the parking lot: a hotel employee rushed at me and asked me to remove my waste from the trash can!!! (Telling me he was looking at me on camera 🤔) Never seen before!!!
