02/09/2024: I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The couple is overwhelmed by this hotel, which is so overcrowded! When I arrived, I searched for my room for at least ten minutes, and the door was behind a closet door, like a technical closet. My first night was chaotic. There were bees that I had to kill during the night. The second night, spiders (a real zoo). No television. When you turn off the light, the outlets are no longer powered. There's no way to charge your phone, or sleep with the light on. When I arrived on the second day, there was a huge leak in the bathroom, full of water, but unfortunately, no one at reception or on the phone. This leak was known because it came from the toilet tank, which you had to turn off after flushing. €144 for 2 nights. I wonder if I shouldn't have slept under the stars. Strongly not recommended.

27/08/2024: I do not recommend this hotel!! Very disappointing, the morning cleaning wasn't done, the reception was disappointing, there was no shower gel, and the door was difficult to open with the key card!! Avoid at all costs!

21/01/2025: Produits de grande qualité, un sans faute du début à la fin ! Je recommande la côte maturée, avec une mention spéciale pour le cheesecake !

22/09/2024: Had a great lunch here, sitting outside in the pretty square. The Maître d' speaks perfect English (with a strong US accent!) and was able to explain the finer points of the menu. Closes for the winter months but definitely looking forward to returning next year.

19/09/2024: We booked this hotel over the phone. We arrived late in the afternoon and had dinner. Very kindly welcomed by the landlady who took us to our spacious, clean and well-equipped room (newly renovated!). We went down for dinner. The menu offered included 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts to choose from. After some advice from the waiter, very pleasant and friendly, knowing his dishes well, we placed our order. And what a surprise it was a dinner full of flavors, an explosion in the mouth which exalted the right mix of spices and a Limousin meat cooked to perfection accompanied by small vegetables which went well with this beautiful piece of meat!!. All the praised products were fresh and cooked by the Chef 🧑‍🍳 Edith, the boss!!. It was such a beautiful and good place that we had lunch there on Sunday afternoon. We highly recommend Douce Demeure in Mortemart, the only village classified as "the most beautiful village in France in Haute Vienne!!. See you soon for another "gastronomic" stopover!!."

10/03/2024: C'est la seconde fois que nous y allons. Accueil très agréable, très bonne cuisine ! Je conseille vivement cet établissement.

29/08/2024: Nous sommes venus à 4 pour dîner. Nous avons demandé à la serveuse si les moules étaient de bonne taille, ce qu'elle a confirmé. Nous avons donc commandé 3 moules frites et un autre plat. Quand les moules ont été servies, déception, elles étaient toutes petites. A la fin du repas nous avons mentionné à la serveuse notre déception et à partir de ce moment là, cette personne nous a totalement ignoré jusqu'à notre départ. Plus aucune attention comme si l'on était des pestiférés alors que nous avions mentionné la vérité très poliment et très gentiment. Comme quoi la vérité blesse... et si dans ce restaurant quelquechose vous déçoit, malheur à vous si vous le dites.

27/08/2024: L’endroit parfait pour se régaler les papilles dans un joli cadre 😃🔥 Un accueil chaleureux, des serveuses dynamiques ! N’hésitez pas à aller y faire un tour !

10/08/2024: Beaucoup de produits manquants. Une attente interminable. Un cassoulet ariégeois de piètre qualité. Des desserts qui ne sont jamais arrivés… Le métier de restaurateur ne s’improvise pas !

14/07/2024: Ce n'est plus ce que c'était ! La qualité et la quantité ont considérablement diminué. (La qualité médiocre du foie gras) (3 minuscules morceaux de foie gras).... Des aiguillettes de canards nerveuses , servies avec des courgettes bouillies !! Un attrape touristes...A fuir !!
